13:6 わたしたちが失格者でないことを、あなたがたが知るようにと願っています。

13:7 わたしたちは、あなたがたがどんな悪も行わないようにと、神に祈っています。それはわたしたちが、適格者と見なされたいからではなく、たとえ失格者と見えようとも、あなたがたが善を行うためなのです。

13:8 わたしたちは、何事も真理に逆らってはできませんが、真理のためならばできます。

13:9 わたしたちは自分が弱くても、あなたがたが強ければ喜びます。あなたがたが完全な者になることをも、わたしたちは祈っています。

13:10 遠くにいてこのようなことを書き送るのは、わたしがそちらに行ったとき、壊すためではなく造り上げるために主がお与えくださった権威によって、厳しい態度をとらなくても済むようにするためです。

13:11 終わりに、兄弟たち、喜びなさい。完全な者になりなさい。励まし合いなさい。思いを一つにしなさい。平和を保ちなさい。そうすれば、愛と平和の神があなたがたと共にいてくださいます。

13:12 聖なる口づけによって互いに挨拶を交わしなさい。すべての聖なる者があなたがたによろしくとのことです。

ＴＥＶ Ⅱコリ13:6-12

13:6 I trust you will know that we are not failures.

13:7 We pray to God that you will do no wrong-not in order to show that we are a success, but so that you may do what is right, even though we may seem to be failures.

13:8 For we cannot do a thing against the truth, but only for it.

13:9 We are glad when we are weak but you are strong. And so we also pray that you will become perfect.

13:10 That is why I write this while I am away from you; it is so that when I arrive I will not have to deal harshly with you in using the authority that the Lord has given me-authority to build you up, not to tear you down.

13:11 And now, my friends, good-bye! Strive for perfection; listen to my appeals; agree with one another; live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

13:12 Greet one another with the kiss of peace. /All of God's people send you their greetings.
