7:1 「人を裁くな。あなたがたも裁かれないようにするためである。

7:2 あなたがたは、自分の裁く裁きで裁かれ、自分の量る秤で量り与えられる。

7:3 あなたは、兄弟の目にあるおが屑は見えるのに、なぜ自分の目の中の丸太に気づかないのか。

7:4 兄弟に向かって、『あなたの目からおが屑を取らせてください』と、どうして言えようか。自分の目に丸太があるではないか。

7:5 偽善者よ、まず自分の目から丸太を取り除け。そうすれば、はっきり見えるようになって、兄弟の目からおが屑を取り除くことができる。

7:6 神聖なものを犬に与えてはならず、また、真珠を豚に投げてはならない。それを足で踏みにじり、向き直ってあなたがたにかみついてくるだろう。」

7:1 "Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you,

7:2 for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others.

7:3 Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the log in your own eye?

7:4 How dare you say to your brother, "Please, let me take that speck out of your eye,' when you have a log in your own eye?

7:5 You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

7:6 "Do not give what is holy to dogs-they will only turn and attack you. Do not throw your pearls in front of pigs-they will only trample them underfoot.
