7:7 「求めなさい。そうすれば、与えられる。探しなさい。そうすれば、見つかる。門をたたきなさい。そうすれば、開かれる。

7:8 だれでも、求める者は受け、探す者は見つけ、門をたたく者には開かれる。

7:9 あなたがたのだれが、パンを欲しがる自分の子供に、石を与えるだろうか。

7:10 魚を欲しがるのに、蛇を与えるだろうか。

7:11 このように、あなたがたは悪い者でありながらも、自分の子供には良い物を与えることを知っている。まして、あなたがたの天の父は、求める者に良い物をくださるにちがいない。

7:12 だから、人にしてもらいたいと思うことは何でも、あなたがたも人にしなさい。これこそ律法と預言者である。」

7:7 "Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.

7:8 For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to those who knock.

7:9 Would any of you who are fathers give your son a stone when he asks for bread?

7:10 Or would you give him a snake when he asks for a fish?

7:11 As bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more, then, will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
