9:18 イエスがこのようなことを話しておられると、ある指導者がそばに来て、ひれ伏して言った。「わたしの娘がたったいま死にました。でも、おいでになって手を置いてやってください。そうすれば、生き返るでしょう。」

9:19 そこで、イエスは立ち上がり、彼について行かれた。弟子たちも一緒だった。

9:20 すると、そこへ十二年間も患って出血が続いている女が近寄って来て、後ろからイエスの服の房に触れた。

9:21 「この方の服に触れさえすれば治してもらえる」と思ったからである。

9:22 イエスは振り向いて、彼女を見ながら言われた。「娘よ、元気になりなさい。あなたの信仰があなたを救った。」そのとき、彼女は治った。

9:23 イエスは指導者の家に行き、笛を吹く者たちや騒いでいる群衆を御覧になって、

9:24 言われた。「あちらへ行きなさい。少女は死んだのではない。眠っているのだ。」人々はイエスをあざ笑った。

9:25 群衆を外に出すと、イエスは家の中に入り、少女の手をお取りになった。すると、少女は起き上がった。

9:26 このうわさはその地方一帯に広まった。

9:18 While Jesus was saying this, a Jewish official came to him, knelt down before him, and said, "My daughter has just died; but come and place your hands on her, and she will live."

9:19 So Jesus got up and followed him, and his disciples went along with him.

9:20 A woman who had suffered from severe bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak.

9:21 She said to herself, "If only I touch his cloak, I will get well."

9:22 Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, "Courage, my daughter! Your faith has made you well." At that very moment the woman became well.

9:23 Then Jesus went into the official's house. When he saw the musicians for the funeral and the people all stirred up,

9:24 he said, "Get out, everybody! The little girl is not dead-she is only sleeping!" Then they all started making fun of him.

9:25 But as soon as the people had been put out, Jesus went into the girl's room and took hold of her hand, and she got up.

9:26 The news about this spread all over that part of the country.
