10:24 弟子は師にまさるものではなく、僕は主人にまさるものではない。

10:25 弟子は師のように、僕は主人のようになれば、それで十分である。家の主人がベルゼブルと言われるのなら、その家族の者はもっとひどく言われることだろう。」

◆恐るべき者

10:26 「人々を恐れてはならない。覆われているもので現されないものはなく、隠されているもので知られずに済むものはないからである。

10:27 わたしが暗闇であなたがたに言うことを、明るみで言いなさい。耳打ちされたことを、屋根の上で言い広めなさい。

10:28 体は殺しても、魂を殺すことのできない者どもを恐れるな。むしろ、魂も体も地獄で滅ぼすことのできる方を恐れなさい。

10:29 二羽の雀が一アサリオンで売られているではないか。だが、その一羽さえ、あなたがたの父のお許しがなければ、地に落ちることはない。

10:30 あなたがたの髪の毛までも一本残らず数えられている。

10:31 だから、恐れるな。あなたがたは、たくさんの雀よりもはるかにまさっている。」

10:24 "No pupil is greater than his teacher; no slave is greater than his master.

10:25 So a pupil should be satisfied to become like his teacher, and a slave like his master. If the head of the family is called Beelzebul, the members of the family will be called even worse names!
