11:1 イエスは十二人の弟子に指図を与え終わると、そこを去り、方々の町で教え、宣教された。

◆洗礼者ヨハネとイエス

11:2 ヨハネは牢の中で、キリストのなさったことを聞いた。そこで、自分の弟子たちを送って、

11:3 尋ねさせた。「来るべき方は、あなたでしょうか。それとも、ほかの方を待たなければなりませんか。」

11:4 イエスはお答えになった。「行って、見聞きしていることをヨハネに伝えなさい。

11:5 目の見えない人は見え、足の不自由な人は歩き、重い皮膚病を患っている人は清くなり、耳の聞こえない人は聞こえ、死者は生き返り、貧しい人は福音を告げ知らされている。

ＴＥＶ マタ 11:1-5

11:1 When Jesus finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, he left that place and went off to teach and preach in the towns near there.

11:2 When John the Baptist heard in prison about the things that Christ was doing, he sent some of his disciples to him.

11:3 "Tell us," they asked Jesus, "are you the one John said was going to come, or should we expect someone else?"

11:4 Jesus answered, "Go back and tell John what you are hearing and seeing:

11:5 the blind can see, the lame can walk, those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases are made clean, the deaf hear, the dead are brought back to life, and the Good News is preached to the poor.
