12:9 イエスはそこを去って、会堂にお入りになった。

12:10 すると、片手の萎えた人がいた。人々はイエスを訴えようと思って、「安息日に病気を治すのは、律法で許されていますか」と尋ねた。

12:11 そこで、イエスは言われた。「あなたたちのうち、だれか羊を一匹持っていて、それが安息日に穴に落ちた場合、手で引き上げてやらない者がいるだろうか。

12:12 人間は羊よりもはるかに大切なものだ。だから、安息日に善いことをするのは許されている。」

12:13 そしてその人に、「手を伸ばしなさい」と言われた。伸ばすと、もう一方の手のように元どおり良くなった。

12:14 ファリサイ派の人々は出て行き、どのようにしてイエスを殺そうかと相談した。

12:9 Jesus left that place and went to a synagogue,

12:10 where there was a man who had a paralyzed hand. Some people were there who wanted to accuse Jesus of doing wrong, so they asked him, "Is it against our Law to heal on the Sabbath?"

12:11 Jesus answered, "What if one of you has a sheep and it falls into a deep hole on the Sabbath? Will you not take hold of it and lift it out?

12:12 And a human being is worth much more than a sheep! So then, our Law does allow us to help someone on the Sabbath."

12:13 Then he said to the man with the paralyzed hand, "Stretch out your hand." /He stretched it out, and it became well again, just like the other one.

12:14 Then the Pharisees left and made plans to kill Jesus.
