21:1 一行がエルサレムに近づいて、オリーブ山沿いのベトファゲに来たとき、イエスは二人の弟子を使いに出そうとして、

21:2 言われた。「向こうの村へ行きなさい。するとすぐ、ろばがつないであり、一緒に子ろばのいるのが見つかる。それをほどいて、わたしのところに引いて来なさい。

21:3 もし、だれかが何か言ったら、『主がお入り用なのです』と言いなさい。すぐ渡してくれる。」

21:4 それは、預言者を通して言われていたことが実現するためであった。

21:5 「シオンの娘に告げよ。『見よ、お前の王がお前のところにおいでになる、／柔和な方で、ろばに乗り、／荷を負うろばの子、子ろばに乗って。』」

21:1 As Jesus and his disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives. There Jesus sent two of the disciples on ahead

21:2 with these instructions: "Go to the village there ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied up with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to me.

21:3 And if anyone says anything, tell him, "The Master needs them'; and then he will let them go at once."

21:4 This happened in order to make come true what the prophet had said:

21:5 "Tell the city of Zion, /Look, your king is coming to you! /He is humble and rides on a donkey /and on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
