25:24 ところで、一タラントン預かった者も進み出て言った。『御主人様、あなたは蒔かない所から刈り取り、散らさない所からかき集められる厳しい方だと知っていましたので、

25:25 恐ろしくなり、出かけて行って、あなたのタラントンを地の中に隠して／おきました。御覧ください。これがあなたのお金です。』

25:26 主人は答えた。『怠け者の悪い僕だ。わたしが蒔かない所から刈り取り、散らさない所からかき集めることを知っていたのか。

25:27 それなら、わたしの金を銀行に入れておくべきであった。そうしておけば、帰って来たとき、利息付きで返してもらえたのに。

25:28 さあ、そのタラントンをこの男から取り上げて、十タラントン持っている者に与えよ。

25:29 だれでも持っている人は更に与えられて豊かになるが、持っていない人は持っているものまでも取り上げられる。

25:30 この役に立たない僕を外の暗闇に追い出せ。そこで泣きわめいて歯ぎしりするだろう。』」

25:24 Then the servant who had received one thousand coins came in and said, "Sir, I know you are a hard man; you reap harvests where you did not plant, and you gather crops where you did not scatter seed.

25:25 I was afraid, so I went off and hid your money in the ground. Look! Here is what belongs to you.'

25:26 "You bad and lazy servant!' his master said. "You knew, did you, that I reap harvests where I did not plant, and gather crops where I did not scatter seed?

25:27 Well, then, you should have deposited my money in the bank, and I would have received it all back with interest when I returned.

25:28 Now, take the money away from him and give it to the one who has ten thousand coins.

25:29 For to every person who has something, even more will be given, and he will have more than enough; but the person who has nothing, even the little that he has will be taken away from him.

25:30 As for this useless servant-throw him outside in the darkness; there he will cry and gnash his teeth.'
