21:6 弟子たちは行って、イエスが命じられたとおりにし、

21:7 ろばと子ろばを引いて来て、その上に服をかけると、イエスはそれにお乗りになった。

21:8 大勢の群衆が自分の服を道に敷き、また、ほかの人々は木の枝を切って道に敷いた。

21:9 そして群衆は、イエスの前を行く者も後に従う者も叫んだ。「ダビデの子にホサナ。主の名によって来られる方に、祝福があるように。いと高きところにホサナ。」

21:10 イエスがエルサレムに入られると、都中の者が、「いったい、これはどういう人だ」と言って騒いだ。

21:11 そこで群衆は、「この方は、ガリラヤのナザレから出た預言者イエスだ」と言った。

21:6 So the disciples went and did what Jesus had told them to do:

21:7 they brought the donkey and the colt, threw their cloaks over them, and Jesus got on.

21:8 A large crowd of people spread their cloaks on the road while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

21:9 The crowds walking in front of Jesus and those walking behind began to shout, "Praise to David's Son! God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise be to God!"

21:10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was thrown into an uproar. "Who is he?" the people asked.

21:11 "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee," the crowds answered.
