23:27 律法学者たちとファリサイ派の人々、あなたたち偽善者は不幸だ。白く塗った墓に似ているからだ。外側は美しく見えるが、内側は死者の骨やあらゆる汚れで満ちている。

23:28 このようにあなたたちも、外側は人に正しいように見えながら、内側は偽善と不法で満ちている。

23:29 律法学者たちとファリサイ派の人々、あなたたち偽善者は不幸だ。預言者の墓を建てたり、正しい人の記念碑を飾ったりしているからだ。

23:30 そして、『もし先祖の時代に生きていても、預言者の血を流す側にはつかなかったであろう』などと言う。

23:31 こうして、自分が預言者を殺した者たちの子孫であることを、自ら証明している。

23:32 先祖が始めた悪事の仕上げをしたらどうだ。

23:33 蛇よ、蝮の子らよ、どうしてあなたたちは地獄の罰を免れることができようか。

23:34 だから、わたしは預言者、知者、学者をあなたたちに遣わすが、あなたたちはその中のある者を殺し、十字架につけ、ある者を会堂で鞭打ち、町から町へと追い回して迫害する。

23:35 こうして、正しい人アベルの血から、あなたたちが聖所と祭壇の間で殺したバラキアの子ゼカルヤの血に至るまで、地上に流された正しい人の血はすべて、あなたたちにふりかかってくる。

23:36 はっきり言っておく。これらのことの結果はすべて、今の時代の者たちにふりかかってくる。」

◆エルサレムのために嘆く

23:37 「エルサレム、エルサレム、預言者たちを殺し、自分に遣わされた人々を石で打ち殺す者よ、めん鳥が雛を羽の下に集めるように、わたしはお前の子らを何度集めようとしたことか。だが、お前たちは応じようとしなかった。

23:38 見よ、お前たちの家は見捨てられて荒れ果てる。

23:39 言っておくが、お前たちは、『主の名によって来られる方に、祝福があるように』と言うときまで、今から後、決してわたしを見ることがない。」

24:1 イエスが神殿の境内を出て行かれると、弟子たちが近寄って来て、イエスに神殿の建物を指さした。

24:2 そこで、イエスは言われた。「これらすべての物を見ないのか。はっきり言っておく。一つの石もここで崩されずに他の石の上に残ることはない。」
 

ＴＥＶ マタ 23:27-39

23:27 "How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look fine on the outside but are full of bones and decaying corpses on the inside.

23:28 In the same way, on the outside you appear good to everybody, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and sins.

23:29 "How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You make fine tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of those who lived good lives;

23:30 and you claim that if you had lived during the time of your ancestors, you would not have done what they did and killed the prophets.

23:31 So you actually admit that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets!

23:32 Go on, then, and finish up what your ancestors started!

23:33 You snakes and children of snakes! How do you expect to escape from being condemned to hell?

23:34 And so I tell you that I will send you prophets and wise men and teachers; you will kill some of them, crucify others, and whip others in the synagogues and chase them from town to town.

23:35 As a result, the punishment for the murder of all innocent people will fall on you, from the murder of innocent Abel to the murder of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the Temple and the altar.

23:36 I tell you indeed: the punishment for all these murders will fall on the people of this day!

23:37 "Jerusalem, Jerusalem! You kill the prophets and stone the messengers God has sent you! How many times I wanted to put my arms around all your people, just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would not let me!

23:38 And so your Temple will be abandoned and empty.

23:39 From now on, I tell you, you will never see me again until you say, "God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord."'

24:1 Jesus left and was going away from the Temple when his disciples came to him to call his attention to its buildings.

24:2 "Yes," he said, "you may well look at all these. I tell you this: not a single stone here will be left in its place; every one of them will be thrown down."
