48:2 大いなる主、限りなく賛美される主。わたしたちの神の都にある聖なる山は

48:3 高く美しく、全地の喜び。北の果ての山、それはシオンの山、力ある王の都。

48:4 その城郭に、砦の塔に、神は御自らを示される。

48:5 見よ、王たちは時を定め、共に進んで来た。

48:6 彼らは見て、ひるみ、恐怖に陥って逃げ去った。

48:7 そのとき彼らを捕えたおののきは／産みの苦しみをする女のもだえ

48:8 東風に砕かれるタルシシュの船。

48:9 聞いていたことをそのまま、わたしたちは見た／万軍の主の都、わたしたちの神の都で。神はこの都をとこしえに固く立てられる。〔セラ

48:10 神よ、神殿にあってわたしたちは／あなたの慈しみを思い描く。

48:11 神よ、賛美は御名と共に地の果てに及ぶ。右の御手には正しさが溢れている。

48:12 あなたの裁きのゆえに／シオンの山は喜び祝い／ユダのおとめらは喜び躍る。

48:13 シオンの周りをひと巡りして見よ。塔の数をかぞえ

48:14 城壁に心を向け、城郭に分け入って見よ。後の代に語り伝えよ

48:15 この神は世々限りなくわたしたちの神／死を越えて、わたしたちを導いて行かれる、と。

ＴＥＶ 詩  48:1-15

48:1 The Lord is great and is to be highly praised /in the city of our God, on his sacred hill.

48:2 Zion, the mountain of God, is high and beautiful; /the city of the great king brings joy to all the world.

48:3 God has shown that there is safety with him /inside the fortresses of the city.

48:4 The kings gathered together /and came to attack Mount Zion.

48:5 But when they saw it, they were amazed; /they were afraid and ran away.

48:6 There they were seized with fear and anguish, /like a woman about to bear a child,

48:7 like ships tossing in a furious storm.

48:8 We have heard what God has done, /and now we have seen it /in the city of our God, the Lord Almighty; /he will keep the city safe forever.

48:9 Inside your Temple, O God, /we think of your constant love.

48:10 You are praised by people everywhere, /and your fame extends over all the earth. /You rule with justice;

48:11 let the people of Zion be glad! /You give right judgments; /let there be joy in the cities of Judah!

48:12 People of God, walk around Zion and count the towers;

48:13 take notice of the walls and examine the fortresses, /so that you may tell the next generation:

48:14 "This God is our God forever and ever; /he will lead us for all time to come."
