17:1 【祈り。ダビデの詩。】主よ、正しい訴えを聞き／わたしの叫びに耳を傾け／祈りに耳を向けてください。わたしの唇に欺きはありません。

17:2 御前からわたしのために裁きを送り出し／あなた御自身の目をもって公平に御覧ください。

17:3 -4あなたはわたしの心を調べ、夜なお尋ね／火をもってわたしを試されますが／汚れた思いは何ひとつ御覧にならないでしょう。わたしの口は人の習いに従うことなく／あなたの唇の言葉を守ります。暴力の道を避けて

17:5 あなたの道をたどり／一歩一歩、揺らぐことなく進みます。

17:6 あなたを呼び求めます／神よ、わたしに答えてください。わたしに耳を向け、この訴えを聞いてください。

17:7 慈しみの御業を示してください。あなたを避けどころとする人を／立ち向かう者から／右の御手をもって救ってください。

17:8 瞳のようにわたしを守り／あなたの翼の陰に隠してください。

17:9 あなたに逆らう者がわたしを虐げ／貪欲な敵がわたしを包囲しています。

17:1 Hear a just cause, O Lord,Attend to my cry;Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.

17:2 Let my vindication come from Your presence;Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright.

17:3 You have tested my heart;You have visited me in the night;You have tried me and have found nothing;I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

17:4 Concerning the works of men,By the word of Your lips,I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.

17:5 Uphold my steps in Your paths,That my footsteps may not slip.

17:6 I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God;Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.

17:7 Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand,O You who save those who trust in YouFrom those who rise up against them.

17:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye;Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

17:1 Listen, O Lord, to my plea for justice; /pay attention to my cry for help! /Listen to my honest prayer.

17:2 You will judge in my favor, /because you know what is right.

17:3 You know my heart. /You have come to me at night; /you have examined me completely /and found no evil desire in me. /I speak no evil,

17:4 as others do; /I have obeyed your command /and have not followed paths of violence.

17:5 I have always walked in your way /and have never strayed from it.

17:6 I pray to you, O God, because you answer me; /so turn to me and listen to my words.

17:7 Reveal your wonderful love and save me; /at your side I am safe from my enemies.

17:8 Protect me as you would your very eyes; /hide me in the shadow of your wings
