3:12 あなたがたは神に選ばれ、聖なる者とされ、愛されているのですから、憐れみの心、慈愛、謙遜、柔和、寛容を身に着けなさい。

3:13 互いに忍び合い、責めるべきことがあっても、赦し合いなさい。主があなたがたを赦してくださったように、あなたがたも同じようにしなさい。

3:14 これらすべてに加えて、愛を身に着けなさい。愛は、すべてを完成させるきずなです。

3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

3:12 You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

3:13 Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.

3:14 And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.
