3:14 これらすべてに加えて、愛を身に着けなさい。愛は、すべてを完成させるきずなです。

3:15 また、キリストの平和があなたがたの心を支配するようにしなさい。この平和にあずからせるために、あなたがたは招かれて一つの体とされたのです。いつも感謝していなさい。

3:16 キリストの言葉があなたがたの内に豊かに宿るようにしなさい。知恵を尽くして互いに教え、諭し合い、詩編と賛歌と霊的な歌により、感謝して心から神をほめたたえなさい。

3:17 そして、何を話すにせよ、行うにせよ、すべてを主イエスの名によって行い、イエスによって、父である神に感謝しなさい。

3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

3:14 And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.

3:15 The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful.

3:16 Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts.

3:17 Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.
