7:18 "He who speaks
from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who
sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.
7:19 "Did not Moses
give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill
Me?"
7:20 The people answered
and said, "You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?"
7:21 Jesus answered and
said to them, "I did one work, and you all marvel.
7:22 "Moses
therefore gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the
fathers), and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath.
7:23 "If a man
receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be
broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the
Sabbath?
7:24 "Do not judge
according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
TEV ヨハ 7:18-24
7:18 Those who speak on
their own authority are trying to gain glory for themselves. But he who wants
glory for the one who sent him is honest, and there is nothing false in him.
7:19 Moses gave you the
Law, didn't he? But not one of you obeys the Law. Why are you trying to kill
me?"
7:20 "You have a
demon in you!" the crowd answered. "Who is trying to kill you?"
7:21 Jesus answered,
"I performed one miracle, and you were all surprised.
7:22 Moses ordered you to
circumcise your sons (although it was not Moses but your ancestors who started
it), and so you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath.
7:23 If a boy is
circumcised on the Sabbath so that Moses' Law is not broken, why are you angry
with me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?
7:24 Stop judging by
external standards, and judge by true standards."
