7:41 またある者は、「この方はキリストだ。」と言った。またある者は言った。「まさか、キリストはガリラヤからは出ないだろう。

7:42 キリストはダビデの子孫から、またダビデがいたベツレヘムの村から出る、と聖書が言っているではないか。」

7:43 そこで、群衆の間にイエスのことで分裂が起こった。

7:44 その中にはイエスを捕えたいと思った者もいたが、イエスに手をかけた者はなかった。

7:40 Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet."

7:41 Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "Will the Christ come out of Galilee?

7:42 "Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"

7:43 So there was a division among the people because of Him.

7:44 Now some of them wanted to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

7:41 Others said, "He is the Messiah!" /But others said, "The Messiah will not come from Galilee!

7:42 The scripture says that the Messiah will be a descendant of King David and will be born in Bethlehem, the town where David lived."

7:43 So there was a division in the crowd because of Jesus.

7:44 Some wanted to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him.
