34:16 主は、従う人に目を注ぎ／助けを求める叫びに耳を傾けてくださる。

34:17 主は悪を行う者に御顔を向け／その名の記念を地上から絶たれる。

34:18 主は助けを求める人の叫びを聞き／苦難から常に彼らを助け出される。

34:19 主は打ち砕かれた心に近くいまし／悔いる霊を救ってくださる。

34:20 主に従う人には災いが重なるが／主はそのすべてから救い出し

34:21 骨の一本も損なわれることのないように／彼を守ってくださる。

34:22 主に逆らう者は災いに遭えば命を失い／主に従う人を憎む者は罪に定められる。

34:23 主はその僕の魂を贖ってくださる。主を避けどころとする人は／罪に定められることがない。

34:16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

34:17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,And delivers them out of all their troubles.

34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

34:20 He guards all his bones;Not one of them is broken.

34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked,And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

34:22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

34:16 but he opposes those who do evil, /so that when they die, they are soon forgotten.

34:17 The righteous call to the Lord, and he listens; /he rescues them from all their troubles.

34:18 The Lord is near to those who are discouraged; /he saves those who have lost all hope.

34:19 Good people suffer many troubles, /but the Lord saves them from them all;

34:20 the Lord preserves them completely; /not one of their bones is broken.

34:21 Evil will kill the wicked; /those who hate the righteous will be punished.

34:22 The Lord will save his people; /those who go to him for protection will be spared.
