37:7 沈黙して主に向かい、主を待ち焦がれよ。繁栄の道を行く者や／悪だくみをする者のことでいら立つな。

37:8 怒りを解き、憤りを捨てよ。自分も悪事を謀ろうと、いら立ってはならない。

37:9 悪事を謀る者は断たれ／主に望みをおく人は、地を継ぐ。

37:10 しばらくすれば、主に逆らう者は消え去る。彼のいた所を調べてみよ、彼は消え去っている。

37:11 貧しい人は地を継ぎ／豊かな平和に自らをゆだねるであろう。

37:7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;Do not fret-it only causes harm.

37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off;But those who wait on the Lord,They shall inherit the earth.

37:10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,But it shall be no more.

37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth,And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

37:7 Be patient and wait for the Lord to act; /don't be worried about those who prosper /or those who succeed in their evil plans.

37:8 Don't give in to worry or anger; /it only leads to trouble.

37:9 Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land, /but the wicked will be driven out.

37:10 Soon the wicked will disappear; /you may look for them, but you won't find them;

37:11 but the humble will possess the land /and enjoy prosperity and peace.
