「神の警告」

7章1-15

7:1 主からエレミヤに臨んだ言葉。

7:2 主の神殿の門に立ち、この言葉をもって呼びかけよ。そして、言え。「主を礼拝するために、神殿の門を入って行くユダの人々よ、皆、主の言葉を聞け。

7:3 イスラエルの神、万軍の主はこう言われる。お前たちの道と行いを正せ。そうすれば、わたしはお前たちをこの所に住まわせる。

7:4 主の神殿、主の神殿、主の神殿という、むなしい言葉に依り頼んではならない。

7:5 -6この所で、お前たちの道と行いを正し、お互いの間に正義を行い、寄留の外国人、孤児、寡婦を虐げず、無実の人の血を流さず、異教の神々に従うことなく、自ら災いを招いてはならない。

7:7 そうすれば、わたしはお前たちを先祖に与えたこの地、この所に、とこしえからとこしえまで住まわせる。

7:8 しかし見よ、お前たちはこのむなしい言葉に依り頼んでいるが、それは救う力を持たない。

7:9 盗み、殺し、姦淫し、偽って誓い、バアルに香をたき、知ることのなかった異教の神々に従いながら、

7:10 わたしの名によって呼ばれるこの神殿に来てわたしの前に立ち、『救われた』と言うのか。お前たちはあらゆる忌むべきことをしているではないか。

7:11 わたしの名によって呼ばれるこの神殿は、お前たちの目に強盗の巣窟と見えるのか。そのとおり。わたしにもそう見える、と主は言われる。

7:12 シロのわたしの聖所に行ってみよ。かつてわたしはそこにわたしの名を置いたが、わが民イスラエルの悪のゆえに、わたしがそれをどのようにしたかを見るがよい。

7:13 今や、お前たちがこれらのことをしたから――と主は言われる――そしてわたしが先に繰り返し語ったのに、その言葉に従わず、呼びかけたのに答えなかったから、

7:14 わたしの名によって呼ばれ、お前たちが依り頼んでいるこの神殿に、そしてお前たちと先祖に与えたこの所に対して、わたしはシロにしたようにする。

7:15 わたしは、お前たちの兄弟である、エフライムの子孫をすべて投げ捨てたように、お前たちをわたしの前から投げ捨てる。」

7:16 あなたはこの民のために祈ってはならない。彼らのために嘆きと祈りの声をあげてわたしを煩わすな。わたしはあなたに耳を傾けない。

ＮＫＪＶ エレ 7:1-15

7:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

7:2 "Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, 'Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!' "

7:3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

7:4 "Do not trust in these lying words, saying, 'The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these.'

7:5 "For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor,

7:6 "if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt,

7:7 "then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

7:8 "Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit.

7:9 "Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know,

7:10 "and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered to do all these abominations'?

7:11 "Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it," says the Lord.

7:12 "But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

7:13 "And now, because you have done all these works," says the Lord, "and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear, and I called you, but you did not answer,

7:14 "therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

7:15 "And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brethren-the whole posterity of Ephraim.
