詩編21編1～8節

21:1 主よ、王はあなたの力によって喜び、あなたの助けによって、いかに大きな喜びをもつことでしょう。

21:2 あなたは彼の心の願いをゆるし、そのくちびるの求めをいなまれなかった。〔セラ

21:3 あなたは大いなる恵みをもって彼を迎え、そのかしらに純金の冠をいただかせられる。

21:4 彼がいのちを求めると、あなたはそれを彼にさずけ、世々限りなくそのよわいを長くされた。

21:5 あなたの助けによって彼の栄光は大きい。あなたは誉と威厳とを彼に与えられる。

21:6 まことに、あなたは彼をとこしえに恵まれた者とし、み前に喜びをもって楽しませられる。

21:7 王は主に信頼するゆえ、いと高き者のいつくしみをこうむって、動かされることはない。

21:8 あなたの手はもろもろの敵を尋ね出し、あなたの右の手はあなたを憎む者を／尋ね出すであろう。

21:4 He asked life from You, and You gave it to him-Length of days forever and ever.

21:5 His glory is great in Your salvation;Honor and majesty You have placed upon him.

21:6 For You have made him most blessed forever;You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.

21:7 For the king trusts in the Lord,And through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.

21:8 Your hand will find all Your enemies;Your right hand will find those who hate You.

21:1 The king is glad, O Lord, because you gave him strength; /he rejoices because you made him victorious.

21:2 You have given him his heart's desire; /you have answered his request.

21:3 You came to him with great blessings /and set a crown of gold on his head.

21:4 He asked for life, and you gave it, /a long and lasting life.

21:5 His glory is great because of your help; /you have given him fame and majesty.

21:6 Your blessings are with him forever, /and your presence fills him with joy.

21:7 The king trusts in the Lord Almighty; /and because of the Lord's constant love /he will always be secure.

21:8 The king will capture all his enemies; /he will capture everyone who hates him.
