1:13 あなたがたもまた、キリストにおいて、真理の言葉、救いをもたらす福音を聞き、そして信じて、約束された聖霊で証印を押されたのです。

1:14 この聖霊は、わたしたちが御国を受け継ぐための保証であり、こうして、わたしたちは贖われて神のものとなり、神の栄光をたたえることになるのです。

◆パウロの祈り

1:15 こういうわけで、わたしも、あなたがたが主イエスを信じ、すべての聖なる者たちを愛していることを聞き、

1:16 祈りの度に、あなたがたのことを思い起こし、絶えず感謝しています。

1:17 どうか、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの神、栄光の源である御父が、あなたがたに知恵と啓示との霊を与え、神を深く知ることができるようにし、

1:18 心の目を開いてくださるように。そして、神の招きによってどのような希望が与えられているか、聖なる者たちの受け継ぐものがどれほど豊かな栄光に輝いているか悟らせてくださるように。

1:19 また、わたしたち信仰者に対して絶大な働きをなさる神の力が、どれほど大きなものであるか、悟らせてくださるように。

ＴＥＶ エペ 1:13-19

1:13 And you also became God's people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought you salvation. You believed in Christ, and God put his stamp of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised.

1:14 The Spirit is the guarantee that we shall receive what God has promised his people, and this assures us that God will give complete freedom to those who are his. Let us praise his glory!

1:15 For this reason, ever since I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God's people,

1:16 I have not stopped giving thanks to God for you. I remember you in my prayers

1:17 and ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him.

1:18 I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people,

1:19 and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power working in us is the same as the mighty strength
