3:14 こういうわけで、わたしは御父の前にひざまずいて祈ります。

3:15 御父から、天と地にあるすべての家族がその名を与えられています。

3:17 信仰によってあなたがたの心の内にキリストを住まわせ、あなたがたを愛に根ざし、愛にしっかりと立つ者としてくださるように。

3:18 また、あなたがたがすべての聖なる者たちと共に、キリストの愛の広さ、長さ、高さ、深さがどれほどであるかを理解し、

3:19 人の知識をはるかに超えるこの愛を知るようになり、そしてついには、神の満ちあふれる豊かさのすべてにあずかり、それによって満たされるように。

3:14 For this reason I fall on my knees before the Father,

3:15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth receives its true name.

3:16 I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves,

3:17 and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love,

3:18 so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love.

3:19 Yes, may you come to know his love-although it can never be fully known-and so be completely filled with the very nature of God.
