60:8 これらは誰か。雲のように飛び、巣に帰る鳩のように速い。

60:9 それは島々がわたしに向けて送るもの／タルシシュの船を先頭に／金銀をもたせ、あなたの子らを遠くから運んで来る。あなたの神、主の御名のため／あなたに輝きを与える／イスラエルの聖なる神のために。

60:10 異邦の人々があなたの城壁を築き／その王たちはあなたに仕える。わたしは怒ってあなたを打ったが／今、あなたを憐れむことを喜ぶ。

60:11 あなたの城門は常に開かれていて／昼も夜も閉ざされることはなく／国々の富があなたのもとにもたらされ／その王たちも導き入れられる。

60:12 あなたに仕えない国も王国も滅び／国々はまったく廃虚となるであろう。

60:13 レバノンの栄光は、糸杉、樅、つげの木と共に／あなたのもとに来て、わたしの聖所を輝かせる。わたしはわたしの足を置く場所に栄光を与える。

60:8 What are these ships that skim along like clouds, /Like doves returning home?

60:9 They are ships coming from distant lands, /Bringing God's people home. /They bring with them silver and gold /To honor the name of the Lord, /The holy God of Israel, /Who has made all nations honor his people.

60:10 The Lord says to Jerusalem, /"Foreigners will rebuild your walls, /And their kings will serve you. /In my anger I punished you, /But now I will show you my favor and mercy.

60:11 Day and night your gates will be open, /So that the kings of the nations /May bring you their wealth.

60:12 But nations that do not serve you /Will be completely destroyed.

60:13 "The wood of the pine, the juniper, and the cypress, /The finest wood from the forests of Lebanon, /Will be brought to rebuild you, Jerusalem, /To make my Temple beautiful, /To make my city glorious.
