9:35 イエスは彼が外に追い出されたことをお聞きになった。そして彼に出会うと、「あなたは人の子を信じるか」と言われた。

9:37 イエスは言われた。「あなたは、もうその人を見ている。あなたと話しているのが、その人だ。」

9:39 イエスは言われた。「わたしがこの世に来たのは、裁くためである。こうして、見えない者は見えるようになり、見える者は見えないようになる。」

9:40 イエスと一緒に居合わせたファリサイ派の人々は、これらのことを聞いて、「我々も見えないということか」と言った。

9:41 イエスは言われた。「見えなかったのであれば、罪はなかったであろう。しかし、今、『見える』とあなたたちは言っている。だから、あなたたちの罪は残る。」

9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?"

9:36 He answered and said, "Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?"

9:37 And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you."

9:38 Then he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him.

9:39 And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind."

9:40 Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?"

9:41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.

9:35 When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked him, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"

9:36 The man answered, "Tell me who he is, sir, so that I can believe in him!"

9:37 Jesus said to him, "You have already seen him, and he is the one who is talking with you now."

9:38 "I believe, Lord!" the man said, and knelt down before Jesus.

9:39 Jesus said, "I came to this world to judge, so that the blind should see and those who see should become blind."

9:40 Some Pharisees who were there with him heard him say this and asked him, "Surely you don't mean that we are blind, too?"

9:41 Jesus answered, "If you were blind, then you would not be guilty; but since you claim that you can see, this means that you are still guilty."
