6:1 そののち、イエスはガリラヤの海、すなわち、テベリヤ湖の向こう岸へ渡られた。

6:2 すると、大ぜいの群衆がイエスについてきた。病人たちになさっていたしるしを見たからである。

6:3 イエスは山に登って、弟子たちと一緒にそこで座につかれた。

6:4 時に、ユダヤ人の祭である過越が間近になっていた。

6:5 イエスは目をあげ、大ぜいの群衆が自分の方に集まって来るのを見て、ピリポに言われた、「どこからパンを買ってきて、この人々に食べさせようか」。

6:6 これはピリポをためそうとして言われたのであって、ご自分ではしようとすることを、よくご承知であった。

6:7 すると、ピリポはイエスに答えた、「二百デナリのパンがあっても、めいめいが少しずついただくにも足りますまい」。

6:8 弟子のひとり、シモン・ペテロの兄弟アンデレがイエスに言った、

6:9 「ここに、大麦のパン五つと、さかな二ひきとを持っている子供がいます。しかし、こんなに大ぜいの人では、それが何になりましょう」。

6:10 イエスは「人々をすわらせなさい」と言われた。その場所には草が多かった。そこにすわった男の数は五千人ほどであった。

6:11 そこで、イエスはパンを取り、感謝してから、すわっている人々に分け与え、また、さかなをも同様にして、彼らの望むだけ分け与えられた。

6:12 人々がじゅうぶんに食べたのち、イエスは弟子たちに言われた、「少しでもむだにならないように、パンくずのあまりを集めなさい」。

6:13 そこで彼らが集めると、五つの大麦のパンを食べて残ったパンくずは、十二のかごにいっぱいになった。

6:14 人々はイエスのなさったこのしるしを見て、「ほんとうに、この人こそ世にきたるべき預言者である」と言った。

6:15 イエスは人々がきて、自分をとらえて王にしようとしていると知って、ただひとり、また山に退かれた。

6:1 その後、イエスはガリラヤの湖、すなわち、テベリヤの湖の向こう岸へ行かれた。

6:7 ピリポはイエスに答えた。「めいめいが少しずつ取るにしても、二百デナリのパンでは足りません。」

6:8 弟子のひとりシモン・ペテロの兄弟アンデレがイエスに言った。

6:9 「ここに少年が大麦のパンを五つと小さい魚を二匹持っています。しかし、こんなに大ぜいの人々では、それが何になりましょう。」

6:10 イエスは言われた。「人々をすわらせなさい。」その場所には草が多かった。そこで男たちはすわった。その数はおよそ五千人であった。

6:11 そこで、イエスはパンを取り、感謝をささげてから、すわっている人々に分けてやられた。また、小さい魚も同じようにして、彼らにほしいだけ分けられた。

6:12 そして、彼らが十分食べたとき、弟子たちに言われた。「余ったパン切れを、一つもむだに捨てないように集めなさい。」

6:13 彼らは集めてみた。すると、大麦のパン五つから出て来たパン切れを、人々が食べたうえ、なお余ったもので十二のかごがいっぱいになった。

6:14 人々は、イエスのなさったしるしを見て、「まことに、この方こそ、世に来られるはずの預言者だ。」と言った。

6:15 そこで、イエスは、人々が自分を王とするために、むりやりに連れて行こうとしているのを知って、ただひとり、また山に退かれた。

6:4 ユダヤ人の祭りである過越祭が近づいていた。

6:5 イエスは目を上げ、大勢の群衆が御自分の方へ来るのを見て、フィリポに、「この人たちに食べさせるには、どこでパンを買えばよいだろうか」と言われたが、

6:6 こう言ったのはフィリポを試みるためであって、御自分では何をしようとしているか知っておられたのである。

6:7 フィリポは、「めいめいが少しずつ食べるためにも、二百デナリオン分のパンでは足りないでしょう」と答えた。

6:8 弟子の一人で、シモン・ペトロの兄弟アンデレが、イエスに言った。

6:9 「ここに大麦のパン五つと魚二匹とを持っている少年がいます。けれども、こんなに大勢の人では、何の役にも立たないでしょう。」

6:10 イエスは、「人々を座らせなさい」と言われた。そこには草がたくさん生えていた。男たちはそこに座ったが、その数はおよそ五千人であった。

6:11 さて、イエスはパンを取り、感謝の祈りを唱えてから、座っている人々に分け与えられた。また、魚も同じようにして、欲しいだけ分け与えられた。

6:12 人々が満腹したとき、イエスは弟子たちに、「少しも無駄にならないように、残ったパンの屑を集めなさい」と言われた。

6:13 集めると、人々が五つの大麦パンを食べて、なお残ったパンの屑で、十二の籠がいっぱいになった。

6:14 そこで、人々はイエスのなさったしるしを見て、「まさにこの人こそ、世に来られる預言者である」と言った。

6:15 イエスは、人々が来て、自分を王にするために連れて行こうとしているのを知り、ひとりでまた山に退かれた。

ＮＫＪＶ ヨハ 6:1-15

6:1 After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.

6:2 Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.

6:3 And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.

6:4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.

6:5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?"

6:6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

6:7 Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little."

6:8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him,

6:9 "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?"

6:10 Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

6:11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

6:12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost."

6:13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.

6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."

6:15 Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone.

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 6:1-15

6:1 After this, Jesus went across Lake Galilee (or, Lake Tiberias, as it is also called).

6:2 A large crowd followed him, because they had seen his miracles of healing the sick.

6:3 Jesus went up a hill and sat down with his disciples.

6:4 The time for the Passover Festival was near.

6:5 Jesus looked around and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, so he asked Philip, "Where can we buy enough food to feed all these people?"

6:6 (He said this to test Philip; actually he already knew what he would do.)

6:7 Philip answered, "For everyone to have even a little, it would take more than two hundred silver coins to buy enough bread."

6:8 Another one of his disciples, Andrew, who was Simon Peter's brother, said,

6:9 "There is a boy here who has five loaves of barley bread and two fish. But they will certainly not be enough for all these people."

6:10 "Make the people sit down," Jesus told them. (There was a lot of grass there.) So all the people sat down; there were about five thousand men.

6:11 Jesus took the bread, gave thanks to God, and distributed it to the people who were sitting there. He did the same with the fish, and they all had as much as they wanted.

6:12 When they were all full, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces left over; let us not waste a bit."

6:13 So they gathered them all and filled twelve baskets with the pieces left over from the five barley loaves which the people had eaten.

6:14 Seeing this miracle that Jesus had performed, the people there said, "Surely this is the Prophet who was to come into the world!"

6:15 Jesus knew that they were about to come and seize him in order to make him king by force; so he went off again to the hills by himself.
