6:16 夕方になったとき、弟子たちは海ベに下り、

6:17 舟に乗って海を渡り、向こう岸のカペナウムに行きかけた。すでに暗くなっていたのに、イエスはまだ彼らのところにおいでにならなかった。

6:18 その上、強い風が吹いてきて、海は荒れ出した。

6:19 四、五十丁こぎ出したとき、イエスが海の上を歩いて舟に近づいてこられるのを見て、彼らは恐れた。

6:20 すると、イエスは彼らに言われた、「わたしだ、恐れることはない」。

6:21 そこで、彼らは喜んでイエスを舟に迎えようとした。すると舟は、すぐ、彼らが行こうとしていた地に着いた。

6:17 そして、舟に乗り込み、カペナウムのほうへ湖を渡っていた。すでに暗くなっていたが、イエスはまだ彼らのところに来ておられなかった。

6:18 湖は吹きまくる強風に荒れ始めた。

6:19 こうして、四、五キロメートルほどこぎ出したころ、彼らは、イエスが湖の上を歩いて舟に近づいて来られるのを見て、恐れた。

6:20 しかし、イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしだ。恐れることはない。」

6:21 それで彼らは、イエスを喜んで舟に迎えた。舟はほどなく目的の地に着いた。

6:16 Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,

6:17 got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

6:18 Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing.

6:19 So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.

6:20 But He said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid."

6:21 Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

6:16 When evening came, Jesus' disciples went down to the lake,

6:17 got into a boat, and went back across the lake toward Capernaum. Night came on, and Jesus still had not come to them.

6:18 By then a strong wind was blowing and stirring up the water.

6:19 The disciples had rowed about three or four miles when they saw Jesus walking on the water, coming near the boat, and they were terrified.

6:20 "Don't be afraid," Jesus told them, "it is I!"

6:21 Then they willingly took him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached land at the place they were heading for.
