12:33 木が良ければ、その実も良いとし、木が悪ければ、その実も悪いとせよ。木はその実でわかるからである。
12:34 まむしの子らよ。あなたがたは悪い者であるのに、どうして良いことを語ることができようか。おおよそ、心からあふれることを、口が語るものである。
12:35 善人はよい倉から良い物を取り出し、悪人は悪い倉から悪い物を取り出す。
12:36 あなたがたに言うが、審判の日には、人はその語る無益な言葉に対して、言い開きをしなければならないであろう。
12:37 あなたは、自分の言葉によって正しいとされ、また自分の言葉によって罪ありとされるからである」。

12:33 木が良ければ、その実も良いとし、木が悪ければその実も悪いとしなさい。木のよしあしはその実によって知られるからです。
12:34 まむしのすえたち。おまえたち悪い者に、どうして良いことが言えましょう。心に満ちていることを口が話すのです。
12:35 良い人は、良い倉から良い物を取り出し、悪い人は、悪い倉から悪い物を取り出すものです。
12:36 わたしはあなたがたに、こう言いましょう。人はその口にするあらゆるむだなことばについて、さばきの日には言い開きをしなければなりません。
12:37 あなたが正しいとされるのは、あなたのことばによるのであり、罪に定められるのも、あなたのことばによるのです。」

vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of

of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out
of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
12:36 "But I say to
you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the
day of judgment.

words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

fruit you must have a healthy tree; if you have a poor tree, you will have bad
fruit. A tree is known by the kind of fruit it bears.
12:34 You snakes-how can
you say good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks what the heart is
full of.
12:35 A good person
brings good things out of a treasure of good things; a bad person brings bad
things out of a treasure of bad things.
12:36 "You can be
sure that on the Judgment Day you will have to give account of every useless
word you have ever spoken.
12:37 Your words will be
used to judge you-to declare you either innocent or guilty."
