21:1 さて、彼らがエルサレムに近づき、オリブ山沿いのベテパゲに着いたとき、イエスはふたりの弟子をつかわして言われた、
21:2 「向こうの村へ行きなさい。するとすぐ、ろばがつながれていて、子ろばがそばにいるのを見るであろう。それを解いてわたしのところに引いてきなさい。
21:3 もしだれかが、あなたがたに何か言ったなら、主がお入り用なのです、と言いなさい。そう言えば、すぐ渡してくれるであろう」。
21:4 こうしたのは、預言者によって言われたことが、成就するためである。
21:5 すなわち、「シオンの娘に告げよ、見よ、あなたの王がおいでになる、柔和なおかたで、ろばに乗って、くびきを負うろばの子に乗って」。

21:1 Now when they drew
near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent
two disciples,
21:2 saying to them,
"Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey
tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.
21:3 "And if anyone
says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord has need of them,' and
immediately he will send them."
21:4 All this was done
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
21:5 "Tell the
daughter of Zion,'Behold, your King is coming to you,Lowly, and sitting on a
donkey,A colt, the foal of a donkey.' "

21:1 As Jesus and his
disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives.
There Jesus sent two of the disciples on ahead
21:2 with these
instructions: "Go to the village there ahead of you, and at once you will
find a donkey tied up with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to
me.
21:3 And if anyone says
anything, tell him, "The Master needs them'; and then he will let them go
at once."
21:4 This happened in
order to make come true what the prophet had said:
21:5 "Tell the city
of Zion, /Look, your king is coming to you! /He is humble and rides on a donkey
/and on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
