11:38 Then Jesus, again
groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against
it.
11:39 Jesus said,
"Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said
to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four
days."
11:40 Jesus said to her,
"Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of
God?"
11:41 Then they took away
the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His
eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
11:42 "And I know that
You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this,
that they may believe that You sent Me."
11:43 Now when He had said
these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!"
11:44 And he who had died
came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a
cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."
TEV ヨハ 11:38-44
11:38 Deeply moved once
more, Jesus went to the tomb, which was a cave with a stone placed at the
entrance.
11:39 "Take the stone
away!" Jesus ordered. /Martha, the dead man's sister, answered,
"There will be a bad smell, Lord. He has been buried four days!"
11:40 Jesus said to her,
"Didn't I tell you that you would see God's glory if you believed?"
11:41 They took the stone
away. Jesus looked up and said, "I thank you, Father, that you listen to
me.
11:42 I know that you
always listen to me, but I say this for the sake of the people here, so that
they will believe that you sent me."
11:43 After he had said
this, he called out in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"
11:44 He came out, his
hands and feet wrapped in grave cloths, and with a cloth around his face.
"Untie him," Jesus told them, "and let him go."
