4:25 だから、偽りを捨て、それぞれ隣人に対して真実を語りなさい。わたしたちは、互いに体の一部なのです。

4:26 怒ることがあっても、罪を犯してはなりません。日が暮れるまで怒ったままでいてはいけません。

4:27 悪魔にすきを与えてはなりません。

4:28 盗みを働いていた者は、今からは盗んではいけません。むしろ、労苦して自分の手で正当な収入を得、困っている人々に分け与えるようにしなさい。

4:29 悪い言葉を一切口にしてはなりません。ただ、聞く人に恵みが与えられるように、その人を造り上げるのに役立つ言葉を、必要に応じて語りなさい。

4:30 神の聖霊を悲しませてはいけません。あなたがたは、聖霊により、贖いの日に対して保証されているのです。

4:31 無慈悲、憤り、怒り、わめき、そしりなどすべてを、一切の悪意と一緒に捨てなさい。

4:32 互いに親切にし、憐れみの心で接し、神がキリストによってあなたがたを赦してくださったように、赦し合いなさい。

5:1 あなたがたは神に愛されている子供ですから、神に倣う者となりなさい。

5:2 キリストがわたしたちを愛して、御自分を香りのよい供え物、つまり、いけにえとしてわたしたちのために神に献げてくださったように、あなたがたも愛によって歩みなさい。

5:3 あなたがたの間では、聖なる者にふさわしく、みだらなことやいろいろの汚れたこと、あるいは貪欲なことを口にしてはなりません。

5:4 卑わいな言葉や愚かな話、下品な冗談もふさわしいものではありません。それよりも、感謝を表しなさい。

5:5 すべてみだらな者、汚れた者、また貪欲な者、つまり、偶像礼拝者は、キリストと神との国を受け継ぐことはできません。このことをよくわきまえなさい。

ＴＥＶ エペ 4:25-32

4:25 No more lying, then! Each of you must tell the truth to the other believer, because we are all members together in the body of Christ.

4:26 If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day.

4:27 Don't give the Devil a chance.

4:28 If you used to rob, you must stop robbing and start working, in order to earn an honest living for yourself and to be able to help the poor.

4:29 Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.

4:30 And do not make God's Holy Spirit sad; for the Spirit is God's mark of ownership on you, a guarantee that the Day will come when God will set you free.

4:31 Get rid of all bitterness, passion, and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort.

4:32 Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ.

ＴＥＶ エペ 5:1-5

5:1 Since you are God's dear children, you must try to be like him.

5:2 Your life must be controlled by love, just as Christ loved us and gave his life for us as a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice that pleases God.

5:3 Since you are God's people, it is not right that any matters of sexual immorality or indecency or greed should even be mentioned among you.

5:4 Nor is it fitting for you to use language which is obscene, profane, or vulgar. Rather you should give thanks to God.

5:5 You may be sure that no one who is immoral, indecent, or greedy (for greed is a form of idolatry) will ever receive a share in the Kingdom of Christ and of God.
