新共同 イザ 58:1-9

58:1 喉をからして叫べ、黙すな／声をあげよ、角笛のように。わたしの民に、その背きを／ヤコブの家に、その罪を告げよ。

58:2 彼らが日々わたしを尋ね求め／わたしの道を知ろうと望むように。恵みの業を行い、神の裁きを捨てない民として／彼らがわたしの正しい裁きを尋ね／神に近くあることを望むように。

58:3 何故あなたはわたしたちの断食を顧みず／苦行しても認めてくださらなかったのか。見よ、断食の日にお前たちはしたい事をし／お前たちのために労する人々を追い使う。

58:4 見よ／お前たちは断食しながら争いといさかいを起こし／神に逆らって、こぶしを振るう。お前たちが今しているような断食によっては／お前たちの声が天で聞かれることはない。

58:5 そのようなものがわたしの選ぶ断食／苦行の日であろうか。葦のように頭を垂れ、粗布を敷き、灰をまくこと／それを、お前は断食と呼び／主に喜ばれる日と呼ぶのか。

58:6 わたしの選ぶ断食とはこれではないか。悪による束縛を断ち、軛の結び目をほどいて／虐げられた人を解放し、軛をことごとく折ること。

58:7 更に、飢えた人にあなたのパンを裂き与え／さまよう貧しい人を家に招き入れ／裸の人に会えば衣を着せかけ／同胞に助けを惜しまないこと。

58:8 そうすれば、あなたの光は曙のように射し出で／あなたの傷は速やかにいやされる。あなたの正義があなたを先導し／主の栄光があなたのしんがりを守る。

58:9 あなたが呼べば主は答え／あなたが叫べば／「わたしはここにいる」と言われる。軛を負わすこと、指をさすこと／呪いの言葉をはくことを／あなたの中から取り去るなら

ＴＥＶ イザ 58:1-9

58:1 The Lord says, "Shout as loud as you can! Tell my people Israel about their sins!

58:2 They worship me every day, claiming that they are eager to know my ways and obey my laws. They say they want me to give them just laws and that they take pleasure in worshiping me."

58:3 The people ask, "Why should we fast if the Lord never notices? Why should we go without food if he pays no attention?" /The Lord says to them, "The truth is that at the same time you fast, you pursue your own interests and oppress your workers.

58:4 Your fasting makes you violent, and you quarrel and fight. Do you think this kind of fasting will make me listen to your prayers?

58:5 When you fast, you make yourselves suffer; you bow your heads low like a blade of grass and spread out sackcloth and ashes to lie on. Is that what you call fasting? Do you think I will be pleased with that?

58:6 "The kind of fasting I want is this: Remove the chains of oppression and the yoke of injustice, and let the oppressed go free.

58:7 Share your food with the hungry and open your homes to the homeless poor. Give clothes to those who have nothing to wear, and do not refuse to help your own relatives.

58:8 "Then my favor will shine on you like the morning sun, and your wounds will be quickly healed. I will always be with you to save you; my presence will protect you on every side.

58:9 When you pray, I will answer you. When you call to me, I will respond. /"If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word;
