28:1 もし、あなたがあなたの神、主の御声によく聞き従い、今日わたしが命じる戒めをことごとく忠実に守るならば、あなたの神、主は、あなたを地上のあらゆる国民にはるかにまさったものとしてくださる。

28:2 あなたがあなたの神、主の御声に聞き従うならば、これらの祝福はすべてあなたに臨み、実現するであろう。

28:3 あなたは町にいても祝福され、野にいても祝福される。

28:4 あなたの身から生まれる子も土地の実りも、家畜の産むもの、すなわち牛の子や羊の子も祝福され、

28:5 籠もこね鉢も祝福される。

28:6 あなたは入るときも祝福され、出て行くときも祝福される。

28:7 主は、あなたに立ち向かう敵を目の前で撃ち破られる。敵は一つの道から攻めて来るが、あなたの前に敗れて七つの道に逃げ去る。

28:8 主は、あなたのために、あなたの穀倉に対しても、あなたの手の働きすべてに対しても祝福を定められ、あなたの神、主が与えられる土地であなたを祝福される。

28:9 もし、あなたがあなたの神、主の戒めを守り、その道に従って歩むならば、主はお誓いになったとおり、あなたを聖なる民とされる。

28:10 地上のすべての民は、あなたに主の御名が付けられるのを見て、あなたに畏れを抱く。

28:11 主は、あなたに与えると先祖に誓われた土地で、あなたの身から生まれる子、家畜の産むもの、土地の実りを豊かに増し加え、

28:12 恵みの倉である天を開いて、季節ごとにあなたの土地に雨を降らせ、あなたの手の業すべてを祝福される。あなたはそれゆえ、多くの国民に貸すようになるが、あなたが貸してもらうことはないであろう。

28:13 わたしが今日、忠実に守るように命じるあなたの神、主の戒めにあなたが聞き従うならば、主はあなたを頭とし、決して尾とはされない。あなたは常に上に立ち、決して下になることはないであろう。

28:14 あなたは、今日わたしが命じるすべての言葉から離れて左右にそれ、他の神々に従い仕えてはならない。

ＴＥＶ 申  28:1-14

28:1 "If you obey the Lord your God and faithfully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, he will make you greater than any other nation on earth.

28:2 Obey the Lord your God and all these blessings will be yours:

28:3 "The Lord will bless your towns and your fields.

28:4 "The Lord will bless you with many children, with abundant crops, and with many cattle and sheep.

28:5 "The Lord will bless your grain crops and the food you prepare from them.

28:6 "The Lord will bless everything you do.

28:7 "The Lord will defeat your enemies when they attack you. They will attack from one direction, but they will run from you in all directions.

28:8 "The Lord your God will bless your work and fill your barns with grain. He will bless you in the land that he is giving you.

28:9 "If you obey the Lord your God and do everything he commands, he will make you his own people, as he has promised.

28:10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that the Lord has chosen you to be his own people, and they will be afraid of you.

28:11 The Lord will give you many children, many cattle, and abundant crops in the land that he promised your ancestors to give you.

28:12 He will send rain in season from his rich storehouse in the sky and bless all your work, so that you will lend to many nations, but you will not have to borrow from any.

28:13 The Lord your God will make you the leader among the nations and not a follower; you will always prosper and never fail if you obey faithfully all his commands that I am giving you today.

28:14 But you must never disobey them in any way, or worship and serve other gods.
