10:24 弟子はその師以上のものではなく、僕はその主人以上の者ではない。
10:25 弟子がその師のようであり、僕がその主人のようであれば、それで十分である。もし家の主人がベルゼブルと言われるならば、その家の者どもはなおさら、どんなにか悪く言われることであろう。
10:26 だから彼らを恐れるな。おおわれたもので、現れてこないものはなく、隠れているもので、知られてこないものはない。
10:27 わたしが暗やみであなたがたに話すことを、明るみで言え。耳にささやかれたことを、屋根の上で言いひろめよ。
10:28 また、からだを殺しても、魂を殺すことのできない者どもを恐れるな。むしろ、からだも魂も地獄で滅ぼす力のあるかたを恐れなさい。
10:29 二羽のすずめは一アサリオンで売られているではないか。しかもあなたがたの父の許しがなければ、その一羽も地に落ちることはない。
10:30 またあなたがたの頭の毛までも、みな数えられている。
10:31 それだから、恐れることはない。あなたがたは多くのすずめよりも、まさった者である。

10:24 弟子はその師にまさらず、しもべはその主人にまさりません。
10:25 弟子がその師のようになれたら十分だし、しもべがその主人のようになれたら十分です。彼らは家長をベルゼブルと呼ぶぐらいですから、ましてその家族の者のことは、何と呼ぶでしょう。
10:26 だから、彼らを恐れてはいけません。おおわれているもので、現わされないものはなく、隠されているもので知られずに済むものはありません。
10:27 わたしが暗やみであなたがたに話すことを明るみで言いなさい。また、あなたがたが耳もとで聞くことを屋上で言い広めなさい。
10:28 からだを殺しても、たましいを殺せない人たちなどを恐れてはなりません。そんなものより、たましいもからだも、ともにゲヘナで滅ぼすことのできる方を恐れなさい。
10:29 二羽の雀は一アサリオンで売っているでしょう。しかし、そんな雀の一羽でも、あなたがたの父のお許しなしには地に落ちることはありません。
10:30 また、あなたがたの頭の毛さえも、みな数えられています。
10:31 だから恐れることはありません。あなたがたは、たくさんの雀よりもすぐれた者です。

◆恐るべき者

10:28 体は殺しても、魂を殺すことのできない者どもを恐れるな。むしろ、魂も体も地獄で滅ぼすことのできる方を恐れなさい。

10:24 "A disciple is
not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
10:25 "It is enough
for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If
they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they
call those of his household!
10:26 "Therefore do
not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and
hidden that will not be known.
10:27 "Whatever I
tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach
on the housetops.
10:28 "And do not
fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who
is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
10:29 "Are not two
sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart
from your Father's will.
10:30 "But the very
hairs of your head are all numbered.
10:31 "Do not fear
therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

10:24 "No pupil is
greater than his teacher; no slave is greater than his master.
10:25 So a pupil should
be satisfied to become like his teacher, and a slave like his master. If the
head of the family is called Beelzebul, the members of the family will be
called even worse names!
10:26 "So do not be
afraid of people. Whatever is now covered up will be uncovered, and every
secret will be made known.
10:27 What I am telling
you in the dark you must repeat in broad daylight, and what you have heard in
private you must announce from the housetops.
10:28 Do not be afraid of
those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of God, who
can destroy both body and soul in hell.
10:29 For only a penny
you can buy two sparrows, yet not one sparrow falls to the ground without your
Father's consent.
10:30 As for you, even
the hairs of your head have all been counted.
10:31 So do not be
afraid; you are worth much more than many sparrows!
