26:47 And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.

26:48 Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, "Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him."

26:49 Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed Him.

26:50 But Jesus said to him, "Friend, why have you come?" Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him.

26:51 And suddenly, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

26:52 But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.

26:53 "Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?

26:54 "How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?"

26:55 In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, "Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me.

26:56 "But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

TEV マタ 26:47-56

26:47 Jesus was still speaking when Judas, one of the twelve disciples, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs and sent by the chief priests and the elders.

26:48 The traitor had given the crowd a signal: "The man I kiss is the one you want. Arrest him!"

26:49 Judas went straight to Jesus and said, "Peace be with you, Teacher," and kissed him.

26:50 Jesus answered, "Be quick about it, friend!" /Then they came up, arrested Jesus, and held him tight.

26:51 One of those who were with Jesus drew his sword and struck at the High Priest's slave, cutting off his ear.

26:52 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him. "All who take the sword will die by the sword.

26:53 Don't you know that I could call on my Father for help, and at once he would send me more than twelve armies of angels?

26:54 But in that case, how could the Scriptures come true which say that this is what must happen?"

26:55 Then Jesus spoke to the crowd, "Did you have to come with swords and clubs to capture me, as though I were an outlaw? Every day I sat down and taught in the Temple, and you did not arrest me.

26:56 But all this has happened in order to make come true what the prophets wrote in the Scriptures." /Then all the disciples left him and ran away.
