6:1 さて、地上に人が増え始め、娘たちが生まれた。

6:2 神の子らは、人の娘たちが美しいのを見て、おのおの選んだ者を妻にした。

6:3 主は言われた。「わたしの霊は人の中に永久にとどまるべきではない。人は肉にすぎないのだから。」こうして、人の一生は百二十年となった。

6:4 当時もその後も、地上にはネフィリムがいた。これは、神の子らが人の娘たちのところに入って産ませた者であり、大昔の名高い英雄たちであった。

6:5 主は、地上に人の悪が増し、常に悪いことばかりを心に思い計っているのを御覧になって、

6:6 地上に人を造ったことを後悔し、心を痛められた。

6:7 主は言われた。「わたしは人を創造したが、これを地上からぬぐい去ろう。人だけでなく、家畜も這うものも空の鳥も。わたしはこれらを造ったことを後悔する。」

6:8 しかし、ノアは主の好意を得た。

6:9 これはノアの物語である。その世代の中で、ノアは神に従う無垢な人であった。ノアは神と共に歩んだ。

6:10 ノアには三人の息子、セム、ハム、ヤフェトが生まれた。

6:11 この地は神の前に堕落し、不法に満ちていた。

6:12 神は地を御覧になった。見よ、それは堕落し、すべて肉なる者はこの地で堕落の道を歩んでいた。

6:13 神はノアに言われた。「すべて肉なるものを終わらせる時がわたしの前に来ている。彼らのゆえに不法が地に満ちている。見よ、わたしは地もろとも彼らを滅ぼす。

6:14 あなたはゴフェルの木の箱舟を造りなさい。箱舟には小部屋を幾つも造り、内側にも外側にもタールを塗りなさい。

6:15 次のようにしてそれを造りなさい。箱舟の長さを三百アンマ、幅を五十アンマ、高さを三十アンマにし、

6:16 箱舟に明かり取りを造り、上から一アンマにして、それを仕上げなさい。箱舟の側面には戸口を造りなさい。また、一階と二階と三階を造りなさい。

6:17 見よ、わたしは地上に洪水をもたらし、命の霊をもつ、すべて肉なるものを天の下から滅ぼす。地上のすべてのものは息絶える。

6:18 わたしはあなたと契約を立てる。あなたは妻子や嫁たちと共に箱舟に入りなさい。

6:19 また、すべて命あるもの、すべて肉なるものから、二つずつ箱舟に連れて入り、あなたと共に生き延びるようにしなさい。それらは、雄と雌でなければならない。

6:20 それぞれの鳥、それぞれの家畜、それぞれの地を這うものが、二つずつあなたのところへ来て、生き延びるようにしなさい。

6:21 更に、食べられる物はすべてあなたのところに集め、あなたと彼らの食糧としなさい。」

6:22 ノアは、すべて神が命じられたとおりに果たした。

ＴＥＶ 創  6:1-22

6:1 When people had spread all over the world, and daughters were being born,

6:2 some of the heavenly beings saw that these young women were beautiful, so they took the ones they liked.

6:3 Then the Lord said, "I will not allow people to live forever; they are mortal. From now on they will live no longer than 120 years."

6:4 In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago.

6:5 When the Lord saw how wicked everyone on earth was and how evil their thoughts were all the time,

6:6 he was sorry that he had ever made them and put them on the earth. He was so filled with regret

6:7 that he said, "I will wipe out these people I have created, and also the animals and the birds, because I am sorry that I made any of them."

6:8 But the Lord was pleased with Noah.

6:9 -10　This is the story of Noah. He had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Noah had no faults and was the only good man of his time. He lived in fellowship with God,

6:10 　

6:11 but everyone else was evil in God's sight, and violence had spread everywhere.

6:12 God looked at the world and saw that it was evil, for the people were all living evil lives.

6:13 God said to Noah, "I have decided to put an end to all people. I will destroy them completely, because the world is full of their violent deeds.

6:14 Build a boat for yourself out of good timber; make rooms in it and cover it with tar inside and out.

6:15 Make it 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high.

6:16 Make a roof for the boat and leave a space of 18 inches between the roof and the sides. Build it with three decks and put a door in the side.

6:17 I am going to send a flood on the earth to destroy every living being. Everything on the earth will die,

6:18 but I will make a covenant with you. Go into the boat with your wife, your sons, and their wives.

6:19 -20 Take into the boat with you a male and a female of every kind of animal and of every kind of bird, in order to keep them alive.

6:20

6:21 Take along all kinds of food for you and for them."

6:22 Noah did everything that God commanded.
