15:50 兄弟たち、わたしはこう言いたいのです。肉と血は神の国を受け継ぐことはできず、朽ちるものが朽ちないものを受け継ぐことはできません。

15:51 わたしはあなたがたに神秘を告げます。わたしたちは皆、眠りにつくわけではありません。わたしたちは皆、今とは異なる状態に変えられます。

15:52 最後のラッパが鳴るとともに、たちまち、一瞬のうちにです。ラッパが鳴ると、死者は復活して朽ちない者とされ、わたしたちは変えられます。

15:53 この朽ちるべきものが朽ちないものを着、この死ぬべきものが死なないものを必ず着ることになります。

15:54 この朽ちるべきものが朽ちないものを着、この死ぬべきものが死なないものを着るとき、次のように書かれている言葉が実現するのです。「死は勝利にのみ込まれた。

15:55 死よ、お前の勝利はどこにあるのか。死よ、お前のとげはどこにあるのか。」

15:56 死のとげは罪であり、罪の力は律法です。

15:57 わたしたちの主イエス・キリストによってわたしたちに勝利を賜る神に、感謝しよう。

15:58 わたしの愛する兄弟たち、こういうわけですから、動かされないようにしっかり立ち、主の業に常に励みなさい。主に結ばれているならば自分たちの苦労が決して無駄にならないことを、あなたがたは知っているはずです。

15:50 What I mean, friends, is that what is made of flesh and blood cannot share in God's Kingdom, and what is mortal cannot possess immortality.

15:51 -52 Listen to this secret truth: we shall not all die, but when the last trumpet sounds, we shall all be changed in an instant, as quickly as the blinking of an eye. For when the trumpet sounds, the dead will be raised, never to die again, and we shall all be changed.

15:52

15:53 For what is mortal must be changed into what is immortal; what will die must be changed into what cannot die.

15:54 So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: "Death is destroyed; victory is complete!"

15:55 "Where, Death, is your victory? /Where, Death, is your power to hurt?"

15:56 Death gets its power to hurt from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law.

15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

15:58 So then, my dear friends, stand firm and steady. Keep busy always in your work for the Lord, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord's service is ever useless.
