2章３７節～４２節

2:37 人々はこれを聞いて、強く心を刺され、ペテロやほかの使徒たちに、「兄弟たちよ、わたしたちは、どうしたらよいのでしょうか」と言った。

2:38 すると、ペテロが答えた、「悔い改めなさい。そして、あなたがたひとりびとりが罪のゆるしを得るために、イエス・キリストの名によって、バプテスマを受けなさい。そうすれば、あなたがたは聖霊の賜物を受けるであろう。

2:39 この約束は、われらの主なる神の召しにあずかるすべての者、すなわちあなたがたと、あなたがたの子らと、遠くの者一同とに、与えられているものである」。

2:40 ペテロは、ほかになお多くの言葉であかしをなし、人々に「この曲った時代から救われよ」と言って勧めた。

2:41 そこで、彼の勧めの言葉を受けいれた者たちは、バプテスマを受けたが、その日、仲間に加わったものが三千人ほどあった。

2:42 そして一同はひたすら、使徒たちの教を守り、信徒の交わりをなし、共にパンをさき、祈をしていた。

2:37 人々はこれを聞いて心を刺され、ペテロとほかの使徒たちに、「兄弟たち。私たちはどうしたらよいでしょうか。」と言った。

2:38 そこでペテロは彼らに答えた。「悔い改めなさい。そして、それぞれ罪を赦していただくために、イエス・キリストの名によってバプテスマを受けなさい。そうすれば、賜物として聖霊を受けるでしょう。

2:39 なぜなら、この約束は、あなたがたと、その子どもたち、ならびにすべての遠くにいる人々、すなわち、私たちの神である主がお召しになる人々に与えられているからです。」

2:40 ペテロは、このほかにも多くのことばをもって、あかしをし、「この曲がった時代から救われなさい。」と言って彼らに勧めた。

2:41 そこで、彼のことばを受け入れた者は、バプテスマを受けた。その日、三千人ほどが弟子に加えられた。

2:42 そして、彼らは使徒たちの教えを堅く守り、交わりをし、パンを裂き、祈りをしていた。

2:38 すると、ペトロは彼らに言った。「悔い改めなさい。めいめい、イエス・キリストの名によって洗礼を受け、罪を赦していただきなさい。そうすれば、賜物として聖霊を受けます。

2:39 この約束は、あなたがたにも、あなたがたの子供にも、遠くにいるすべての人にも、つまり、わたしたちの神である主が招いてくださる者ならだれにでも、与えられているものなのです。」

2:40 ペトロは、このほかにもいろいろ話をして、力強く証しをし、「邪悪なこの時代から救われなさい」と勧めていた。

2:41 ペトロの言葉を受け入れた人々は洗礼を受け、その日に三千人ほどが仲間に加わった。

2:42 彼らは、使徒の教え、相互の交わり、パンを裂くこと、祈ることに熱心であった。

2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

2:39 "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."

2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

2:37 When the people heard this, they were deeply troubled and said to Peter and the other apostles, "What shall we do, brothers?"

2:38 Peter said to them, "Each one of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins will be forgiven; and you will receive God's gift, the Holy Spirit.

2:39 For God's promise was made to you and your children, and to all who are far away-all whom the Lord our God calls to himself."

2:40 Peter made his appeal to them and with many other words he urged them, saying, "Save yourselves from the punishment coming on this wicked people!"

2:41 Many of them believed his message and were baptized, and about three thousand people were added to the group that day.

2:42 They spent their time in learning from the apostles, taking part in the fellowship, and sharing in the fellowship meals and the prayers.
