5章1～16節

5:1 ところが、アナニヤという人とその妻サッピラとは共に資産を売ったが、

5:2 共謀して、その代金をごまかし、一部だけを持ってきて、使徒たちの足もとに置いた。

5:3 そこで、ペテロが言った、「アナニヤよ、どうしてあなたは、自分の心をサタンに奪われて、聖霊を欺き、地所の代金をごまかしたのか。

5:4 売らずに残しておけば、あなたのものであり、売ってしまっても、あなたの自由になったはずではないか。どうして、こんなことをする気になったのか。あなたは人を欺いたのではなくて、神を欺いたのだ」。

5:5 アナニヤはこの言葉を聞いているうちに、倒れて息が絶えた。このことを伝え聞いた人々は、みな非常なおそれを感じた。

5:6 それから、若者たちが立って、その死体を包み、運び出して葬った。

5:7 三時間ばかりたってから、たまたま彼の妻が、この出来事を知らずに、はいってきた。

5:8 そこで、ペテロが彼女にむかって言った、「あの地所は、これこれの値段で売ったのか。そのとおりか」。彼女は「そうです、その値段です」と答えた。

5:9 ペテロは言った、「あなたがたふたりが、心を合わせて主の御霊を試みるとは、何事であるか。見よ、あなたの夫を葬った人たちの足が、そこの門口にきている。あなたも運び出されるであろう」。

5:10 すると女は、たちまち彼の足もとに倒れて、息が絶えた。そこに若者たちがはいってきて、女が死んでしまっているのを見、それを運び出してその夫のそばに葬った。

5:11 教会全体ならびにこれを伝え聞いた人たちは、みな非常なおそれを感じた。

5:12 そのころ、多くのしるしと奇跡とが、次々に使徒たちの手により人々の中で行われた。そして、一同は心を一つにして、ソロモンの廊に集まっていた。

5:13 ほかの者たちは、だれひとり、その交わりに入ろうとはしなかったが、民衆は彼らを尊敬していた。

5:14 しかし、主を信じて仲間に加わる者が、男女とも、ますます多くなってきた。

5:15 ついには、病人を大通りに運び出し、寝台や寝床の上に置いて、ペテロが通るとき、彼の影なりと、そのうちのだれかにかかるようにしたほどであった。

5:16 またエルサレム附近の町々からも、大ぜいの人が、病人や汚れた霊に苦しめられている人たちを引き連れて、集まってきたが、その全部の者が、ひとり残らずいやされた。

5:1 ところが、アナニヤという人は、妻のサッピラとともにその持ち物を売り、

5:2 妻も承知のうえで、その代金の一部を残しておき、ある部分を持って来て、使徒たちの足もとに置いた。

5:3 そこで、ペテロがこう言った。「アナニヤ。どうしてあなたはサタンに心を奪われ、聖霊を欺いて、地所の代金の一部を自分のために残しておいたのか。

5:4 それはもともとあなたのものであり、売ってからもあなたの自由になったのではないか。なぜこのようなことをたくらんだのか。あなたは人を欺いたのではなく、神を欺いたのだ。」

5:5 アナニヤはこのことばを聞くと、倒れて息が絶えた。そして、これを聞いたすべての人に、非常な恐れが生じた。

5:6 青年たちは立って、彼を包み、運び出して葬った。

5:7 三時間ほどたって、彼の妻はこの出来事を知らずにはいって来た。

5:8 ペテロは彼女にこう言った。「あなたがたは地所をこの値段で売ったのですか。私に言いなさい。」彼女は「はい。その値段です。」と言った。

5:9 そこで、ペテロは彼女に言った。「どうしてあなたがたは心を合わせて、主の御霊を試みたのですか。見なさい、あなたの夫を葬った者たちが、戸口に来ていて、あなたをも運び出します。」

5:10 すると彼女は、たちまちペテロの足もとに倒れ、息が絶えた。はいって来た青年たちは、彼女が死んだのを見て、運び出し、夫のそばに葬った。

5:11 そして、教会全体と、このことを聞いたすべての人たちとに、非常な恐れが生じた。

5:12 また、使徒たちの手によって、多くのしるしと不思議なわざが人々の間で行なわれた。みなは一つ心になってソロモンの廊にいた。

5:13 ほかの人々は、ひとりもこの交わりに加わろうとしなかったが、その人々は彼らを尊敬していた。

5:14 そればかりか、主を信じる者は男も女もますますふえていった。

5:15 ついに、人々は病人を大通りへ運び出し、寝台や寝床の上に寝かせ、ペテロが通りかかるときには、せめてその影でも、だれかにかかるようにするほどになった。

5:16 また、エルサレムの付近の町から、大ぜいの人が、病人や、汚れた霊に苦しめられている人などを連れて集まって来たが、その全部がいやされた。

5:2 妻も承知のうえで、代金をごまかし、その一部を持って来て使徒たちの足もとに置いた。

5:3 すると、ペトロは言った。「アナニア、なぜ、あなたはサタンに心を奪われ、聖霊を欺いて、土地の代金をごまかしたのか。

5:4 売らないでおけば、あなたのものだったし、また、売っても、その代金は自分の思いどおりになったのではないか。どうして、こんなことをする気になったのか。あなたは人間を欺いたのではなく、神を欺いたのだ。」

5:5 この言葉を聞くと、アナニアは倒れて息が絶えた。そのことを耳にした人々は皆、非常に恐れた。

5:6 若者たちが立ち上がって死体を包み、運び出して葬った。

5:7 それから三時間ほどたって、アナニアの妻がこの出来事を知らずに入って来た。

5:8 ペトロは彼女に話しかけた。「あなたたちは、あの土地をこれこれの値段で売ったのか。言いなさい。」彼女は、「はい、その値段です」と言った。

5:9 ペトロは言った。「二人で示し合わせて、主の霊を試すとは、何としたことか。見なさい。あなたの夫を葬りに行った人たちが、もう入り口まで来ている。今度はあなたを担ぎ出すだろう。」

5:10 すると、彼女はたちまちペトロの足もとに倒れ、息が絶えた。青年たちは入って来て、彼女の死んでいるのを見ると、運び出し、夫のそばに葬った。

5:11 教会全体とこれを聞いた人は皆、非常に恐れた。

◆使徒たち、多くの奇跡を行う

5:12 使徒たちの手によって、多くのしるしと不思議な業とが民衆の間で行われた。一同は心を一つにしてソロモンの回廊に集まっていたが、

5:13 ほかの者はだれ一人、あえて仲間に加わろうとはしなかった。しかし、民衆は彼らを称賛していた。

5:14 そして、多くの男女が主を信じ、その数はますます増えていった。

5:15 人々は病人を大通りに運び出し、担架や床に寝かせた。ペトロが通りかかるとき、せめてその影だけでも病人のだれかにかかるようにした。

5:16 また、エルサレム付近の町からも、群衆が病人や汚れた霊に悩まされている人々を連れて集まって来たが、一人残らずいやしてもらった。

ＮＫＪＶ 使  5:1-16

5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.

5:2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet.

5:3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?

5:4 "While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."

5:5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.

5:6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

5:7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.

5:8 And Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?" She said, "Yes, for so much."

5:9 Then Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."

5:10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.

5:11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

5:12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon's Porch.

5:13 Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

5:14 And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

5:15 so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.

5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

5:1 But there was a man named Ananias, who with his wife Sapphira sold some property that belonged to them.

5:2 But with his wife's agreement he kept part of the money for himself and turned the rest over to the apostles.

5:3 Peter said to him, "Ananias, why did you let Satan take control of you and make you lie to the Holy Spirit by keeping part of the money you received for the property?

5:4 Before you sold the property, it belonged to you; and after you sold it, the money was yours. Why, then, did you decide to do such a thing? You have not lied to people-you have lied to God!"

5:5 As soon as Ananias heard this, he fell down dead; and all who heard about it were terrified.

5:6 The young men came in, wrapped up his body, carried him out, and buried him.

5:7 About three hours later his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.

5:8 Peter asked her, "Tell me, was this the full amount you and your husband received for your property?" /"Yes," she answered, "the full amount."

5:9 So Peter said to her, "Why did you and your husband decide to put the Lord's Spirit to the test? The men who buried your husband are at the door right now, and they will carry you out too!"

5:10 At once she fell down at his feet and died. The young men came in and saw that she was dead, so they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

5:11 The whole church and all the others who heard of this were terrified.

5:12 Many miracles and wonders were being performed among the people by the apostles. All the believers met together in Solomon's Porch.

5:13 Nobody outside the group dared join them, even though the people spoke highly of them.

5:14 But more and more people were added to the group-a crowd of men and women who believed in the Lord.

5:15 As a result of what the apostles were doing, sick people were carried out into the streets and placed on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

5:16 And crowds of people came in from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing those who were sick or who had evil spirits in them; and they were all healed.
