１章6節～11節

「聖霊と力、証し人」

1:6 さて、弟子たちが一緒に集まったとき、イエスに問うて言った、「主よ、イスラエルのために国を復興なさるのは、この時なのですか」。

1:7 彼らに言われた、「時期や場合は、父がご自分の権威によって定めておられるのであって、あなたがたの知る限りではない。

1:8 ただ、聖霊があなたがたにくだる時、あなたがたは力を受けて、エルサレム、ユダヤとサマリヤの全土、さらに地のはてまで、わたしの証人となるであろう」。

1:9 こう言い終ると、イエスは彼らの見ている前で天に上げられ、雲に迎えられて、その姿が見えなくなった。

1:10 イエスの上って行かれるとき、彼らが天を見つめていると、見よ、白い衣を着たふたりの人が、彼らのそばに立っていて

1:11 言った、「ガリラヤの人たちよ、なぜ天を仰いで立っているのか。あなたがたを離れて天に上げられたこのイエスは、天に上って行かれるのをあなたがたが見たのと同じ有様で、またおいでになるであろう」。

1:6 そこで、彼らは、いっしょに集まったとき、イエスにこう尋ねた。「主よ。今こそ、イスラエルのために国を再興してくださるのですか。」

1:7 イエスは言われた。「いつとか、どんなときとかいうことは、あなたがたは知らなくてもよいのです。それは、父がご自分の権威をもってお定めになっています。

1:8 しかし、聖霊があなたがたの上に臨まれるとき、あなたがたは力を受けます。そして、エルサレム、ユダヤとサマリヤの全土、および地の果てにまで、わたしの証人となります。」

1:9 こう言ってから、イエスは彼らが見ている間に上げられ、雲に包まれて、見えなくなられた。

1:10 イエスが上って行かれるとき、弟子たちは天を見つめていた。すると、見よ、白い衣を着た人がふたり、彼らのそばに立っていた。

1:11 そして、こう言った。「ガリラヤの人たち。なぜ天を見上げて立っているのですか。あなたがたを離れて天に上げられたこのイエスは、天に上って行かれるのをあなたがたが見たときと同じ有様で、またおいでになります。」

1:6 さて、使徒たちは集まって、「主よ、イスラエルのために国を建て直してくださるのは、この時ですか」と尋ねた。

1:7 イエスは言われた。「父が御自分の権威をもってお定めになった時や時期は、あなたがたの知るところではない。

1:8 あなたがたの上に聖霊が降ると、あなたがたは力を受ける。そして、エルサレムばかりでなく、ユダヤとサマリアの全土で、また、地の果てに至るまで、わたしの証人となる。」

1:9 こう話し終わると、イエスは彼らが見ているうちに天に上げられたが、雲に覆われて彼らの目から見えなくなった。

1:10 イエスが離れ去って行かれるとき、彼らは天を見つめていた。すると、白い服を着た二人の人がそばに立って、

1:11 言った。「ガリラヤの人たち、なぜ天を見上げて立っているのか。あなたがたから離れて天に上げられたイエスは、天に行かれるのをあなたがたが見たのと同じ有様で、またおいでになる。」

1:6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"

1:7 And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

1:9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,

1:11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

1:6 When the apostles met together with Jesus, they asked him, "Lord, will you at this time give the Kingdom back to Israel?"

1:7 Jesus said to them, "The times and occasions are set by my Father's own authority, and it is not for you to know when they will be.

1:8 But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

1:9 After saying this, he was taken up to heaven as they watched him, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

1:10 They still had their eyes fixed on the sky as he went away, when two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them

1:11 and said, "Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven."
