10:7 イエスはまた言われた。「はっきり言っておく。わたしは羊の門である。

10:8 わたしより前に来た者は皆、盗人であり、強盗である。しかし、羊は彼らの言うことを聞かなかった。

10:9 わたしは門である。わたしを通って入る者は救われる。その人は、門を出入りして牧草を見つける。

10:10 盗人が来るのは、盗んだり、屠ったり、滅ぼしたりするためにほかならない。わたしが来たのは、羊が命を受けるため、しかも豊かに受けるためである。

10:11 わたしは良い羊飼いである。良い羊飼いは羊のために命を捨てる。

10:12 羊飼いでなく、自分の羊を持たない雇い人は、狼が来るのを見ると、羊を置き去りにして逃げる。――狼は羊を奪い、また追い散らす。――

10:13 彼は雇い人で、羊のことを心にかけていないからである。

10:14 わたしは良い羊飼いである。わたしは自分の羊を知っており、羊もわたしを知っている。

10:15 それは、父がわたしを知っておられ、わたしが父を知っているのと同じである。わたしは羊のために命を捨てる。

10:16 わたしには、この囲いに入っていないほかの羊もいる。その羊をも導かなければならない。その羊もわたしの声を聞き分ける。こうして、羊は一人の羊飼いに導かれ、一つの群れになる。

10:17 わたしは命を、再び受けるために、捨てる。それゆえ、父はわたしを愛してくださる。

10:18 だれもわたしから命を奪い取ることはできない。わたしは自分でそれを捨てる。わたしは命を捨てることもでき、それを再び受けることもできる。これは、わたしが父から受けた掟である。」

10:19 この話をめぐって、ユダヤ人たちの間にまた対立が生じた。

10:20 多くのユダヤ人は言った。「彼は悪霊に取りつかれて、気が変になっている。なぜ、あなたたちは彼の言うことに耳を貸すのか。」

10:21 ほかの者たちは言った。「悪霊に取りつかれた者は、こういうことは言えない。悪霊に盲人の目が開けられようか。」

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 10:7-21

10:7 So Jesus said again, "I am telling you the truth: I am the gate for the sheep.

10:8 All others who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.

10:9 I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture.

10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life-life in all its fullness.

10:11 "I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep.

10:12 When the hired man, who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees a wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away; so the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.

10:13 The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.

10:14 -15 I am the good shepherd. As the Father knows me and I know the Father, in the same way I know my sheep and they know me. And I am willing to die for them.

10:16 There are other sheep which belong to me that are not in this sheep pen. I must bring them, too; they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

10:17 "The Father loves me because I am willing to give up my life, in order that I may receive it back again.

10:18 No one takes my life away from me. I give it up of my own free will. I have the right to give it up, and I have the right to take it back. This is what my Father has commanded me to do."

10:19 Again there was a division among the people because of these words.

10:20 Many of them were saying, "He has a demon! He is crazy! Why do you listen to him?"

10:21 But others were saying, "A man with a demon could not talk like this! How could a demon give sight to blind people?"
