13:36 シモン・ペトロがイエスに言った。「主よ、どこへ行かれるのですか。」イエスが答えられた。「わたしの行く所に、あなたは今ついて来ることはできないが、後でついて来ることになる。」

13:37 ペトロは言った。「主よ、なぜ今ついて行けないのですか。あなたのためなら命を捨てます。」

13:38 イエスは答えられた。「わたしのために命を捨てると言うのか。はっきり言っておく。鶏が鳴くまでに、あなたは三度わたしのことを知らないと言うだろう。」 

新共同 ヨハ 14:1-14

14:1 「心を騒がせるな。神を信じなさい。そして、わたしをも信じなさい。

14:2 わたしの父の家には住む所がたくさんある。もしなければ、あなたがたのために場所を用意しに行くと言ったであろうか。

14:3 行ってあなたがたのために場所を用意したら、戻って来て、あなたがたをわたしのもとに迎える。こうして、わたしのいる所に、あなたがたもいることになる。

14:4 わたしがどこへ行くのか、その道をあなたがたは知っている。」

14:5 トマスが言った。「主よ、どこへ行かれるのか、わたしたちには分かりません。どうして、その道を知ることができるでしょうか。」

14:6 イエスは言われた。「わたしは道であり、真理であり、命である。わたしを通らなければ、だれも父のもとに行くことができない。

14:7 あなたがたがわたしを知っているなら、わたしの父をも知ることになる。今から、あなたがたは父を知る。いや、既に父を見ている。」

14:8 フィリポが「主よ、わたしたちに御父をお示しください。そうすれば満足できます」と言うと、

14:9 イエスは言われた。「フィリポ、こんなに長い間一緒にいるのに、わたしが分かっていないのか。わたしを見た者は、父を見たのだ。なぜ、『わたしたちに御父をお示しください』と言うのか。

14:10 わたしが父の内におり、父がわたしの内におられることを、信じないのか。わたしがあなたがたに言う言葉は、自分から話しているのではない。わたしの内におられる父が、その業を行っておられるのである。

14:11 わたしが父の内におり、父がわたしの内におられると、わたしが言うのを信じなさい。もしそれを信じないなら、業そのものによって信じなさい。

14:12 はっきり言っておく。わたしを信じる者は、わたしが行う業を行い、また、もっと大きな業を行うようになる。わたしが父のもとへ行くからである。

14:13 わたしの名によって願うことは、何でもかなえてあげよう。こうして、父は子によって栄光をお受けになる。

14:14 わたしの名によって何かを願うならば、わたしがかなえてあげよう。」 

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 13:36-38

13:36 "Where are you going, Lord?" Simon Peter asked him. /"You cannot follow me now where I am going," answered Jesus; "but later you will follow me."

13:37 "Lord, why can't I follow you now?" asked Peter. "I am ready to die for you!"

13:38 Jesus answered, "Are you really ready to die for me? I am telling you the truth: before the rooster crows you will say three times that you do not know me.

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 14:1-14

14:1 "Do not be worried and upset," Jesus told them. "Believe in God and believe also in me.

14:2 There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so.

14:3 And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am.

14:4 You know the way that leads to the place where I am going."

14:5 Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going; so how can we know the way to get there?"

14:6 Jesus answered him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.

14:7 Now that you have known me," he said to them, "you will know my Father also, and from now on you do know him and you have seen him."

14:8 Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father; that is all we need."

14:9 Jesus answered, "For a long time I have been with you all; yet you do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. Why, then, do you say, "Show us the Father'?

14:10 Do you not believe, Philip, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I have spoken to you," Jesus said to his disciples, "do not come from me. The Father, who remains in me, does his own work.

14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If not, believe because of the things I do.

14:12 I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do-yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father.

14:13 And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father's glory will be shown through the Son.

14:14 If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.
