14:15 「あなたがたは、わたしを愛しているならば、わたしの掟を守る。

14:16 わたしは父にお願いしよう。父は別の弁護者を遣わして、永遠にあなたがたと一緒にいるようにしてくださる。

14:17 この方は、真理の霊である。世は、この霊を見ようとも知ろうともしないので、受け入れることができない。しかし、あなたがたはこの霊を知っている。この霊があなたがたと共におり、これからも、あなたがたの内にいるからである。

14:18 わたしは、あなたがたをみなしごにはしておかない。あなたがたのところに戻って来る。

14:19 しばらくすると、世はもうわたしを見なくなるが、あなたがたはわたしを見る。わたしが生きているので、あなたがたも生きることになる。

14:20 かの日には、わたしが父の内におり、あなたがたがわたしの内におり、わたしもあなたがたの内にいることが、あなたがたに分かる。

14:21 わたしの掟を受け入れ、それを守る人は、わたしを愛する者である。わたしを愛する人は、わたしの父に愛される。わたしもその人を愛して、その人にわたし自身を現す。」

14:22 イスカリオテでない方のユダが、「主よ、わたしたちには御自分を現そうとなさるのに、世にはそうなさらないのは、なぜでしょうか」と言った。

14:23 イエスはこう答えて言われた。「わたしを愛する人は、わたしの言葉を守る。わたしの父はその人を愛され、父とわたしとはその人のところに行き、一緒に住む。

14:24 わたしを愛さない者は、わたしの言葉を守らない。あなたがたが聞いている言葉はわたしのものではなく、わたしをお遣わしになった父のものである。

ＴＥＶ ヨハ 14:15-24

14:15 "If you love me, you will obey my commandments.

14:16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.

14:17 He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you.

14:18 "When I go, you will not be left all alone; I will come back to you.

14:19 In a little while the world will see me no more, but you will see me; and because I live, you also will live.

14:20 When that day comes, you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me, just as I am in you.

14:21 "Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. My Father will love those who love me; I too will love them and reveal myself to them."

14:22 Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "Lord, how can it be that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?"

14:23 Jesus answered him, "Those who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and my Father and I will come to them and live with them.

14:24 Those who do not love me do not obey my teaching. And the teaching you have heard is not mine, but comes from the Father, who sent me.
