「呼び集める主」

31章1-14

31:1 そのときには、と主は言われる。わたしはイスラエルのすべての部族の神となり、彼らはわたしの民となる。

31:2 主はこう言われる。民の中で、剣を免れた者は／荒れ野で恵みを受ける／イスラエルが安住の地に向かうときに。

31:3 遠くから、主はわたしに現れた。わたしは、とこしえの愛をもってあなたを愛し／変わることなく慈しみを注ぐ。

31:4 おとめイスラエルよ／再び、わたしはあなたを固く建てる。再び、あなたは太鼓をかかえ／楽を奏する人々と共に踊り出る。

31:5 再び、あなたは／サマリアの山々にぶどうの木を植える。植えた人が、植えたその実の初物を味わう。

31:6 見張りの者がエフライムの山に立ち／呼ばわる日が来る。「立て、我らはシオンへ上ろう／我らの神、主のもとへ上ろう。」

31:7 主はこう言われる。ヤコブのために喜び歌い、喜び祝え。諸国民の頭のために叫びをあげよ。声を響かせ、賛美せよ。そして言え。「主よ、あなたの民をお救いください／イスラエルの残りの者を。」

31:8 見よ、わたしは彼らを北の国から連れ戻し／地の果てから呼び集める。その中には目の見えない人も、歩けない人も／身ごもっている女も、臨月の女も共にいる。彼らは大いなる会衆となって帰って来る。

31:9 彼らは泣きながら帰って来る。わたしは彼らを慰めながら導き／流れに沿って行かせる。彼らはまっすぐな道を行き、つまずくことはない。わたしはイスラエルの父となり／エフライムはわたしの長子となる。

31:10 諸国の民よ、主の言葉を聞け。遠くの島々に告げ知らせて言え。「イスラエルを散らした方は彼を集め／羊飼いが群れを守るように彼を守られる。」

31:11 主はヤコブを解き放ち／彼にまさって強い者の手から贖われる。

31:12 彼らは喜び歌いながらシオンの丘に来て／主の恵みに向かって流れをなして来る。彼らは穀物、酒、オリーブ油／羊、牛を受け／その魂は潤う園のようになり／再び衰えることはない。

31:13 そのとき、おとめは喜び祝って踊り／若者も老人も共に踊る。わたしは彼らの嘆きを喜びに変え／彼らを慰め、悲しみに代えて喜び祝わせる。

31:14 祭司の命を髄をもって潤し／わたしの民を良い物で飽かせると／主は言われる。

ＴＥＶ エレ 31:1-14

31:1 The Lord says, "The time is coming when I will be the God of all the tribes of Israel, and they will be my people.

31:2 In the desert I showed mercy to those people who had escaped death. When the people of Israel longed for rest,

31:3 I appeared to them from far away. People of Israel, I have always loved you, so I continue to show you my constant love.

31:4 Once again I will rebuild you. Once again you will take up your tambourines and dance joyfully.

31:5 Once again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria, and those who plant them will eat what the vineyards produce.

31:6 Yes, the time is coming when sentries will call out on the hills of Ephraim, "Let's go up to Zion, to the Lord our God."'

31:7 The Lord says, /"Sing with joy for Israel, /the greatest of the nations. /Sing your song of praise, /"The Lord has saved his people; /he has rescued all who are left.'

31:8 I will bring them from the north /and gather them from the ends of the earth. /The blind and the lame will come with them, /pregnant women and those about to give birth. /They will come back a great nation.

31:9 My people will return weeping, /praying as I lead them back. /I will guide them to streams of water, /on a smooth road where they will not stumble. /I am like a father to Israel, /and Ephraim is my oldest son."

31:10 The Lord says, /"Nations, listen to me /and proclaim my words on the far-off shores. /I scattered my people, but I will gather them /and guard them as a shepherd guards his flock.

31:11 I have set Israel's people free /and have saved them from a mighty nation.

31:12 They will come and sing for joy on Mount Zion /and be delighted with my gifts- /gifts of grain and wine and olive oil, /gifts of sheep and cattle. /They will be like a well-watered garden; /they will have everything they need.

31:13 Then the young women will dance and be happy, /and men, young and old, will rejoice. /I will comfort them and turn their mourning into joy, /their sorrow into gladness.

31:14 I will fill the priests with the richest food /and satisfy all the needs of my people. /I, the Lord, have spoken."
