新共同 イザ 11:1-5

11:1 エッサイの株からひとつの芽が萌えいで／その根からひとつの若枝が育ち

11:2 その上に主の霊がとどまる。知恵と識別の霊／思慮と勇気の霊／主を知り、畏れ敬う霊。

11:3 彼は主を畏れ敬う霊に満たされる。目に見えるところによって裁きを行わず／耳にするところによって弁護することはない。

11:4 弱い人のために正当な裁きを行い／この地の貧しい人を公平に弁護する。その口の鞭をもって地を打ち／唇の勢いをもって逆らう者を死に至らせる。

11:5 正義をその腰の帯とし／真実をその身に帯びる。

ＴＥＶ イザ 11:1-5

11:1 The royal line of David is like a tree that has been cut down; but just as new branches sprout from a stump, so a new king will arise from among David's descendants.

11:2 The spirit of the Lord will give him wisdom /and the knowledge and skill to rule his people. /He will know the Lord's will and honor him,

11:3 and find pleasure in obeying him. /He will not judge by appearance or hearsay;

11:4 he will judge the poor fairly /and defend the rights of the helpless. /At his command the people will be punished, /and evil persons will die.

11:5 He will rule his people with justice and integrity.
