新共同 イザ 50:4-11

50:4 主なる神は、弟子としての舌をわたしに与え／疲れた人を励ますように／言葉を呼び覚ましてくださる。朝ごとにわたしの耳を呼び覚まし／弟子として聞き従うようにしてくださる。

50:5 主なる神はわたしの耳を開かれた。わたしは逆らわず、退かなかった。

50:6 打とうとする者には背中をまかせ／ひげを抜こうとする者には頬をまかせた。顔を隠さずに、嘲りと唾を受けた。

50:7 主なる神が助けてくださるから／わたしはそれを嘲りとは思わない。わたしは顔を硬い石のようにする。わたしは知っている／わたしが辱められることはない、と。

50:8 わたしの正しさを認める方は近くいます。誰がわたしと共に争ってくれるのか／われわれは共に立とう。誰がわたしを訴えるのか／わたしに向かって来るがよい。

50:9 見よ、主なる神が助けてくださる。誰がわたしを罪に定めえよう。見よ、彼らはすべて衣のように朽ち／しみに食い尽くされるであろう。

50:10 お前たちのうちにいるであろうか／主を畏れ、主の僕の声に聞き従う者が。闇の中を歩くときも、光のないときも／主の御名に信頼し、その神を支えとする者が。

50:11 見よ、お前たちはそれぞれ、火をともし／松明を掲げている。行け、自分の火の光に頼って／自分で燃やす松明によって。わたしの手がこのことをお前たちに定めた。お前たちは苦悩のうちに横たわるであろう。

ＴＥＶ イザ 50:4-11

50:4 The Sovereign Lord has taught me what to say, /so that I can strengthen the weary. /Every morning he makes me eager /to hear what he is going to teach me.

50:5 The Lord has given me understanding, /and I have not rebelled /or turned away from him.

50:6 I bared my back to those who beat me. /I did not stop them when they insulted me, /when they pulled out the hairs of my beard /and spit in my face.

50:7 But their insults cannot hurt me /because the Sovereign Lord gives me help. /I brace myself to endure them. /I know that I will not be disgraced,

50:8 for God is near, /and he will prove me innocent. /Does anyone dare bring charges against me? /Let us go to court together! /Let him bring his accusation!

50:9 The Sovereign Lord himself defends me- /who, then, can prove me guilty? /All my accusers will disappear; /they will vanish like moth-eaten cloth.

50:10 All of you that honor the Lord /and obey the words of his servant, /the path you walk may be dark indeed, /but trust in the Lord, rely on your God.

50:11 All of you that plot to destroy others /will be destroyed by your own plots. /The Lord himself will make this happen; /you will suffer a miserable fate.
