新共同 申  5:1-11

5:1 モーセは、全イスラエルを呼び集めて言った。イスラエルよ、聞け。今日、わたしは掟と法を語り聞かせる。あなたたちはこれを学び、忠実に守りなさい。

5:2 我々の神、主は、ホレブで我々と契約を結ばれた。

5:3 主はこの契約を我々の先祖と結ばれたのではなく、今ここに生きている我々すべてと結ばれた。

5:4 主は山で、火の中からあなたたちと顔と顔を合わせて語られた。

5:5 わたしはそのとき、主とあなたたちの間に立って主の言葉を告げた。あなたたちが火を恐れて山に登らなかったからである。主は言われた。

5:6 「わたしは主、あなたの神、あなたをエジプトの国、奴隷の家から導き出した神である。

5:7 あなたには、わたしをおいてほかに神があってはならない。

5:8 あなたはいかなる像も造ってはならない。上は天にあり、下は地にあり、また地の下の水の中にある、いかなるものの形も造ってはならない。

5:9 あなたはそれらに向かってひれ伏したり、それらに仕えたりしてはならない。わたしは主、あなたの神。わたしは熱情の神である。わたしを否む者には、父祖の罪を子孫に三代、四代までも問うが、

5:10 わたしを愛し、わたしの戒めを守る者には、幾千代にも及ぶ慈しみを与える。

5:11 あなたの神、主の名をみだりに唱えてはならない。みだりにその名を唱える者を主は罰せずにはおかれない。

ＴＥＶ 申  5:1-11

5:1 Moses called together all the people of Israel and said to them, "People of Israel, listen to all the laws that I am giving you today. Learn them and be sure that you obey them.

5:2 At Mount Sinai the Lord our God made a covenant,

5:3 not only with our fathers, but with all of us who are living today.

5:4 There on the mountain the Lord spoke to you face-to-face from the fire.

5:5 I stood between you and the Lord at that time to tell you what he said, because you were afraid of the fire and would not go up the mountain. /"The Lord said,

5:6 "I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from Egypt, where you were slaves.

5:7 ""Worship no god but me.

5:8 ""Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth.

5:9 Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, for I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their descendants down to the third and fourth generation.

5:10 But I show my love to thousands of generations of those who love me and obey my laws.

5:11 ""Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, the Lord your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.
