53:2 神を知らぬ者は心に言う／「神などない」と。人々は腐敗している。忌むべき行いをする。善を行う者はいない。

53:3 神は天から人の子らを見渡し、探される／目覚めた人、神を求める人はいないか、と。

53:4 だれもかれも背き去った。皆ともに、汚れている。善を行う者はいない。ひとりもいない。

53:5 悪を行う者は知っているはずではないか／パンを食らうかのようにわたしの民を食らい／神を呼び求めることをしない者よ。

53:6 それゆえにこそ、大いに恐れるがよい／かつて、恐れたこともなかった者よ。あなたに対して陣を敷いた者の骨を／神はまき散らされた。神は彼らを退けられ、あなたは彼らを辱めた。

53:7 どうか、イスラエルの救いが／シオンから起こるように。神が御自分の民、捕われ人を連れ帰られるとき／ヤコブは喜び躍り／イスラエルは喜び祝うであろう。

54:3 神よ、御名によってわたしを救い／力強い御業によって、わたしを裁いてください。

54:4 神よ、わたしの祈りを聞き／この口にのぼる願いに耳を傾けてください。

54:5 異邦の者がわたしに逆らって立ち／暴虐な者がわたしの命をねらっています。彼らは自分の前に神を置こうとしないのです。〔セラ

54:6 見よ、神はわたしを助けてくださる。主はわたしの魂を支えてくださる。

54:7 わたしを陥れようとする者に災いを報い／あなたのまことに従って／彼らを絶やしてください。

54:8 主よ、わたしは自ら進んでいけにえをささげ／恵み深いあなたの御名に感謝します。

54:9 主は苦難から常に救い出してくださいます。わたしの目が敵を支配しますように。

55:2 神よ、わたしの祈りに耳を向けてください。嘆き求めるわたしから隠れないでください。

55:3 わたしに耳を傾け、答えてください。わたしは悩みの中にあってうろたえています。わたしは不安です。

55:4 敵が声をあげ、神に逆らう者が迫ります。彼らはわたしに災いをふりかからせようとし／憤って襲いかかります。

55:5 胸の中で心はもだえ／わたしは死の恐怖に襲われています。

55:6 恐れとわななきが湧き起こり／戦慄がわたしを覆い

55:7 わたしは言います。「鳩の翼がわたしにあれば／飛び去って、宿を求め

55:8 はるかに遠く逃れて／荒れ野で夜を過ごすことができるのに。〔セラ

55:9 烈しい風と嵐を避け／急いで身を隠すことができるのに。」

55:10 主よ、彼らを絶やしてください。彼らの舌は分裂を引き起こしています。わたしには確かに見えます／都に不法と争いのあることが。

55:11 それらは昼も夜も、都の城壁の上を巡り／町中には災いと労苦が

55:12 町中には滅びがあります。広場からは搾取と詐欺が去りません。

55:13 わたしを嘲る者が敵であれば／それに耐えもしよう。わたしを憎む者が尊大にふるまうのであれば／彼を避けて隠れもしよう。

55:14 だが、それはお前なのだ。わたしと同じ人間、わたしの友、知り合った仲。

55:15 楽しく、親しく交わり／神殿の群衆の中を共に行き来したものだった。

55:16 死に襲われるがよい／生きながら陰府に下ればよい／住まいに、胸に、悪を蓄えている者は。

55:17 わたしは神を呼ぶ。主はわたしを救ってくださる。

55:18 夕べも朝も、そして昼も、わたしは悩んで呻く。神はわたしの声を聞いてくださる。

55:19 闘いを挑む多くの者のただ中から／わたしの魂を贖い出し、平和に守ってくださる。

55:20 神はわたしの声を聞き、彼らを低くされる。神はいにしえからいまし〔セラ／変わることはない。その神を畏れることなく

55:21 彼らは自分の仲間に手を下し、契約を汚す。

55:22 口は脂肪よりも滑らかに語るが／心には闘いの思いを抱き／言葉は香油よりも優しいが、抜き身の剣に等しい。

55:23 あなたの重荷を主にゆだねよ／主はあなたを支えてくださる。主は従う者を支え／とこしえに動揺しないように計らってくださる。

55:24 神よ、あなた御自身で／滅びの穴に追い落としてください／欺く者、流血の罪を犯す者を。彼らが人生の半ばにも達しませんように。わたしはあなたに依り頼みます。

53:1 Fools say to themselves, /"There is no God." /They are all corrupt, /and they have done terrible things; /there is no one who does what is right.

53:2 God looks down from heaven at people /to see if there are any who are wise, /any who worship him.

53:3 But they have all turned away; /they are all equally bad. /Not one of them does what is right, /not a single one.

53:4 "Don't they know?" God asks. /"Are these evildoers ignorant? /They live by robbing my people, /and they never pray to me."

53:5 But then they will become terrified, /as they have never been before, /for God will scatter the bones of the enemies of his people. /God has rejected them, /and so Israel will totally defeat them.

53:6 How I pray that victory /will come to Israel from Zion. /How happy the people of Israel will be /when God makes them prosperous again!

ＴＥＶ 詩  54:1-9

54:1 Save me by your power, O God; /set me free by your might!

54:2 Hear my prayer, O God; /listen to my words!

54:3 Proud people are coming to attack me; /cruel people are trying to kill me- /those who do not care about God.

54:4 But God is my helper. /The Lord is my defender.

54:5 May God use their own evil to punish my enemies. /He will destroy them because he is faithful.

54:6 I will gladly offer you a sacrifice, O Lord; /I will give you thanks /because you are good.

54:7 You have rescued me from all my troubles, /and I have seen my enemies defeated. 

ＴＥＶ 詩  55:1-24

55:1 Hear my prayer, O God; /don't turn away from my plea!

55:2 Listen to me and answer me; /I am worn out by my worries.

55:3 I am terrified by the threats of my enemies, /crushed by the oppression of the wicked. /They bring trouble on me; /they are angry with me and hate me.

55:4 I am terrified, /and the terrors of death crush me.

55:5 I am gripped by fear and trembling; /I am overcome with horror.

55:6 I wish I had wings like a dove. /I would fly away and find rest.

55:7 I would fly far away /and make my home in the desert.

55:8 I would hurry and find myself a shelter /from the raging wind and the storm.

55:9 Confuse the speech of my enemies, O Lord! /I see violence and riots in the city,

55:10 surrounding it day and night, /filling it with crime and trouble.

55:11 There is destruction everywhere; /the streets are full of oppression and fraud.

55:12 If it were an enemy making fun of me, /I could endure it; /if it were an opponent boasting over me, /I could hide myself from him.

55:13 But it is you, my companion, /my colleague and close friend.

55:14 We had intimate talks with each other /and worshiped together in the Temple.

55:15 May my enemies die before their time; /may they go down alive into the world of the dead! /Evil is in their homes and in their hearts.

55:16 But I call to the Lord God for help, /and he will save me.

55:17 Morning, noon, and night /my complaints and groans go up to him, /and he will hear my voice.

55:18 He will bring me safely back /from the battles that I fight /against so many enemies.

55:19 God, who has ruled from eternity, /will hear me and defeat them; /for they refuse to change, /and they do not fear him.

55:20 My former companion attacked his friends; /he broke his promises.

55:21 His words were smoother than cream, /but there was hatred in his heart; /his words were as soothing as oil, /but they cut like sharp swords.

55:22 Leave your troubles with the Lord, /and he will defend you; /he never lets honest people be defeated.

55:23 But you, O God, will bring those murderers and liars to their graves /before half their life is over. /As for me, I will trust in you.
