5:21 "You have heard
that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders
will be in danger of the judgment.'
5:22 "But I say to
you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger
of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of
the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
5:23 "Therefore if
you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has
something against you,
5:24 "leave your
gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your
brother, and then come and offer your gift.
5:25 "Agree with
your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary
deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be
thrown into prison.
5:26 "Assuredly, I
say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last
penny.
TEV マタ 5:21-26
5:21 "You have heard
that people were told in the past, "Do not commit murder; anyone who does
will be brought to trial.'
5:22 But now I tell you:
if you are angry with your brother you will be brought to trial, if you call
your brother "You good-for-nothing!' you will be brought before the
Council, and if you call your brother a worthless fool you will be in danger of
going to the fire of hell.
5:23 So if you are about
to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother
has something against you,
5:24 leave your gift
there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother, and
then come back and offer your gift to God.
5:25 "If someone
brings a lawsuit against you and takes you to court, settle the dispute while
there is time, before you get to court. Once you are there, you will be turned
over to the judge, who will hand you over to the police, and you will be put in
jail.
5:26 There you will stay,
I tell you, until you pay the last penny of your fine.
