9:1 さて、イエスは舟に乗って海を渡り、自分の町に帰られた。
9:2 すると、人々が中風の者を床の上に寝かせたままでみもとに運んできた。イエスは彼らの信仰を見て、中風の者に、「子よ、しっかりしなさい。あなたの罪はゆるされたのだ」と言われた。
9:3 すると、ある律法学者たちが心の中で言った、「この人は神を汚している」。
9:4 イエスは彼らの考えを見抜いて、「なぜ、あなたがたは心の中で悪いことを考えているのか。
9:5 あなたの罪はゆるされた、と言うのと、起きて歩け、と言うのと、どちらがたやすいか。
9:6 しかし、人の子は地上で罪をゆるす権威をもっていることが、あなたがたにわかるために」と言い、中風の者にむかって、「起きよ、床を取りあげて家に帰れ」と言われた。
9:7 すると彼は起きあがり、家に帰って行った。
9:8 群衆はそれを見て恐れ、こんな大きな権威を人にお与えになった神をあがめた。

9:3 すると、律法学者たちは、心の中で、「この人は神をけがしている。」と言った。
9:4 イエスは彼らの心の思いを知って言われた。「なぜ、心の中で悪いことを考えているのか。
9:5 『あなたの罪は赦された。』と言うのと、『起きて歩け。』と言うのと、どちらがやさしいか。
9:6 人の子が地上で罪を赦す権威を持っていることを、あなたがたに知らせるために。」こう言って、それから中風の人に、「起きなさい。寝床をたたんで、家に帰りなさい。」と言われた。
9:7 すると、彼は起きて家に帰った。
9:8 群衆はそれを見て恐ろしくなり、こんな権威を人にお与えになった神をあがめた。

9:3 ところが、律法学者の中に、「この男は神を冒涜している」と思う者がいた。
9:4 イエスは、彼らの考えを見抜いて言われた。「なぜ、心の中で悪いことを考えているのか。
9:5 『あなたの罪は赦される』と言うのと、『起きて歩け』と言うのと、どちらが易しいか。
9:6 人の子が地上で罪を赦す権威を持っていることを知らせよう。」そして、中風の人に、「起き上がって床を担ぎ、家に帰りなさい」と言われた。
9:7 その人は起き上がり、家に帰って行った。
9:8 群衆はこれを見て恐ろしくなり、人間にこれほどの権威をゆだねられた神を賛美した。

9:1 So He got into a
boat, crossed over, and came to His own city.
9:2 Then behold, they
brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said
to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven
you."
9:3 And at once some of
the scribes said within themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"
9:4 But Jesus, knowing
their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?
9:5 "For which is
easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'?
9:6 "But that you may
know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"-then He said
to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
9:7 And he arose and
departed to his house.
9:8 Now when the
multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to
men.

9:1 Jesus got into the
boat and went back across the lake to his own town,
9:2 where some people
brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed. When Jesus saw how much faith
they had, he said to the paralyzed man, "Courage, my son! Your sins are
forgiven."
9:3 Then some teachers of
the Law said to themselves, "This man is speaking blasphemy!"
9:4 Jesus perceived what
they were thinking, and so he said, "Why are you thinking such evil
things?
9:5 Is it easier to say,
"Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, "Get up and walk'?
9:6 I will prove to you,
then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." So he
said to the paralyzed man, "Get up, pick up your bed, and go home!"
9:7 The man got up and
went home.
9:8 When the people saw
it, they were afraid, and praised God for giving such authority to people.
